After missing out on a large Legacy event in July, Off the Wall Games will be hosting a Legacy tournament for 4x Tundras on August 16th 2008.

Date: Saturday August 16th 2008
Start Time: 1:00PM Registration begins at 11:30 AM (try to be on time, we will be starting promptly at 1:00)
Type: Legacy (1.5)
Cost: $10.00
Minimum of 12 People
Where: 41 Russell ST
Hadley, MA 01035

1st place: 4x Tundra or $120.00 in Store Credit
2nd place: 4x Volcanic Island or $100.00 store credit
3rd Place: $60.00 store credit
4th Place: $40.00 store credit
5th-8th Places each get 6 boosters
This will be a SANCTIONED event.

I have gone back to the $10.00 entrance, but with the overwhelming number of people that made it out to the anniversary tournament, if it would be an incentive to increase entrance as well as payout for prizes let me know. I know that gas has been becoming a bigger issue for people. So let me know. I run these events for the community. I still have 3 moxes, and several other cards that could make for larger prizes.

I'm very dissapointed that I wasn't able to make it to the Mox event, and I really hope I can make it to this one. Expect 1-3 people from Stoughton to make this.

EDIT: as far as increasing price+prize... i vote no. for the one tourny it was nice... but i like the relatively cheap entry for these things.

I'm hoping to actually spark the interest of more Albany crew than just Shane and Myself for this go-around... However I'd like to keep the prices at the 10ish dollar range myself. Granted I'm looking forward to a possible promotion here soon and would have a little extra cash to play with and Shane's car gets great mileage, but its had other problems and I know he's reluctant to drive it every time and the lower price of entry means more money to put into gas with the ever-rising prices.

I like the current level of entry/prize balance though I wouldn't mind shellin a 20-spot out for another chance at a Mox or hell even a set of Goyfs with the way their prices are down the line.

16 people single elim side tourney... roasted, toasted and burnt everyone to a crisp :p

I was very happy with teh burn deck and wished I played it in the main event.
The main was working well but I was fortunate to have no counter balance/top decks. Forgot to add shusher in board :x

Great tourney. Super kudos to store for holding free side tourney. Made me and person I rode up with happy. We got to trashtalk a ton in finals... actually it was mostly me trashtalking him. Actually it was entirely me :p

So I had a good time and won goyfs both times I've been to the store. <3

I really enjoy going here and am always happy to make the 2 hour trip. Thanks again and congrats to those who did well in the main event.

I would once again like to thank everyone that came out for the tournament. We had 42 players which was an exceptional turnout for gen con weekend. I will post top 8 deck lists tomorrow. (Don't worry, it won't take a week like last time.)
