Last event we ran brought out 12 dedicated local legacy gamers! Tournament went off without issues and this one will be even better. The storefront is now open! Come on in and browse through binders and boxes for gems from the past. Drafting and Side events will be offered if interest is high enough. Lets make this a great day for the Chicago area legacy community.

This event is coming up this weekend. I hope to see at least as good a turnout this time as the last one. I will announce the tournament for the Underground Sea's at the event and will have that tourny posted by Monday. See you all Saturday!

I haven't been to astro city in a while, do they have a good selection of old and/or new singles? I will probably have 1-2 people come with me. If turnout is good for this one, can we possibly increase entry fee and prize support for the next one?

Thanks for the replies! Until the phone at the store is fully operational, you can reach me at (847) 436-3062. The store has singles from every set in extended and into legacy.

I will be raising entry fees and raising prize supports in the future. In three weeks I will be hosting a tournament for at least a Playset of Underground Seas. That tournament will be posted in the coming days as the prize structure is finalized.

Astro City will be buying and trading all day also. Event will be sanctioned as legacy constructed. Bring your DCI numbers, and if you don't have one I will be glad to get you signed up with one. Thanks again for all the interest!

Update 12:00pm

Round one beings with 11 players showing up to battle for the Bayous and some store credit. The field seems to be fairly diverse with a fair ammount of each archetype showing up except combo. No one wants to be risky. More updates to come throughout the day.

The top 4 was run single elimination. Devin had to leave for work, and took 4th with a double scoop. The finals was split and each player took 2 Bayous and $15 store credit. Rust left with $15 in credit for future events.
