So I've been waiting for inspiration to strike before attempting an EDH build, and it struck over in Jak's thread, thanks to Shabbaman's deck, which reminded me of my old Living Death deck my multiplayer crew used to loathe.

The idea was/is to play out dudes with relevant CIP effects, throw them to a sacrifice effect when they are going to hit the bin anyhow, continue abusing them with Oath of Ghouls, and then Living Death to wrath the opponents board and get all your dudes back with their CIP affects usually resulting in a blowout big enough to cement a win.

Goblin Bombardment is the shit.

I picked Sek'Kuar, Deathkeeper as my general.

I went through and picked up most of my old favorite cards and then all the new toys that have come out in the past 9? years since I had the original deck, and there is so much fun here... too much actually, I picked out 104 non-land cards to play with, anyone want to help trim this to size?

One thing I noticed with other peoples decks is the auto-inclustion of Stripmine and Wasteland, any particular reason behind this? I was thinking the LD creatures might be the easiest to cut for this slow format (I assume, I haven't played it yet), but left them for now as the inclustion of these lands hints that these creatures might be good as well.

Alright, I'm just gonna run this out there, and take it for what its worth - this goes for everyone gaining an interest in the format, not just you.

If you're building an EDH deck, and you don't use the broken artifact acceleration available in the format, expect to lose. If I'm gaining the equivalent of three turns on you by playing Chrome Mox, Mox Diamond, Mana Vault, Mana Crypt, Lotus Petal, Sol Ring, any Talismans I can fit in, any Signets I can fit in, and the redic amount of 3cc Accel, then you're going to lose. Also, Armageddon effects are busted as fuck, and you need ways to deal with them, other than being cold to it.

Also, Strip Mine and Wasteland own all the stupid cheater lands like Tolarian Academy, Academy Ruins and Volrath's Stronghold, andother I can't even think of.

@ TrialByFire: That makes sense, I just wanted to make sure there wasn't more there I was missing thanks.

I've now worked in some artifact acceleration and cut out a LOT of crap, still need to cut 14 more. Any advice, comments anyone?

Really? Aren't you afraid of something like Pernicious deed? I know I am... yes, I have The Fear. Especially if you get "card disadvantage" with the fake moxen. I run Sol ring, and forgot about Mana crypt (I have one). That I can understand. I'm unsure about fast mana in the form of petal or rituals though.

Protean Hulk is banned btw. I like the idea of creating a mass of tokens (and then Furystoke giant, heh). And try Corpse dance, it's great.

Edited list extensively, adding some cards I'd missed and cutting a lot, still @ 105 though.
