Just got off the phone with Krieger and this is what he told me -

Threshold vs. Dreadstill

Team America vs. Black Tempo Threshold

Team America vs. Goyf Sligh

Fetchland Tendrils vs. Threshold

Whit3 Ghost

Fetchland Tendrils as in Doomsday? Fetchland Tendrils as in ANT based heavily off of Emidln's shell? Or Fetchland Tendrils as in Iggy?

Dreadstill wins, calling it in advance =P.

Yep, Shay is onto the semi-finals, beating 4c Threshold w/ Dreadstill. 2-0

G2 was a slaughter.

Whit3 Ghost

If the FT player can beat the first blue deck, he's my pick. If not, I have one of the Team America players winning this.

Shit, it looks like Goyf Sligh is going to win.

Minor update.

Shay lost in the semis to Sligh.

Finals are Goyf Sligh vs. Team America.

Sligh won G1.

G2 is starting right now.

I don't know which would be worse, friggin' Goyf Sligh winning, or freaking Dreadstill.

Bardo

Goyf Sligh wins.

I took a bunch of notes that I can type up if anyone cares.

Basically, Sligh weathered TA's early game disruption and draw (Ponders, Dazes, double Sinkhole), landed a couple of 1-drops and just swung with some burn thrown in every now and then. A curious use of Crypt at an opportune time bought Sligh the time it needed to win the race.

TA landed Tombstalker a few turns too late and that was it. 2-0

Thanks for the updates and the feed, Ray! Very cool. :)

The Fetchland Tendrils is ADNT, similar to the Italian lists.

Seems familar. I love that Team America deck (since it has a weak game against GoyfSligh  ).

Nice to see my team's 4C Thresh list T4'ing on day one. I really dislike the singleton Stifle, and I think Thoughtseize is better then Spell Snare is this field, but it's nice anyway. Hope it can pull some results on day two.

Can we get top 8 lists? It is weird how few players made top 8 day 2 out of the day 1 top 8s...But wow, hatfields seem to never quit. I hope to see the hardcore legacy players like them, coppola, barnello, elgin, etc kick some ass at GP: Chicago next year. That is if the format doesnt get shit on tonight by bannings...lol.

I didn't like your 4 color threshold deck but thats just me. I'm a fan of the tempo thresh or thrash decks.

It is pretty much junk. If I hadn't gotten paired against like 2 rounds of junk, followed by lucksacking 2 rounds in a row, drawing twice, and top 8 splitting for an FBB Sea one time, I would have dropped the deck a long time ago. But this is the second time, the first being the source tourney, when, I say to myself "Oh, this is a deck that I've done well with, I'll just play it again".
I'm not playing that list again for a long time.
