Hello Guys,

Its my 1st attempt to play EDH. I just learned most of the rules and dos and donts. Around my play area after tourneys, people would usually run EDH multiplayer and I wanted to join.

Anyways, I was trying to break Lin Sivvi in Legacy but it didnt work, so in a way, i want this to be an outlet of me using her (shes my favourite legendary creature). Also I can use Land Tax :P

I dont have a current decklist right now although i am looking for ideas so I can put together a decent multiplayer deck.

Here are some of my ideas if im going to run her (fetch combo pieces):

- Cho-Manno, Revolutionary + Pariah/Pariah's Shield

- Outrider en-Kor + Task Force + Animal Boneyard (Condemn or anything like that) + Celestial Convergence/Test of Endurance

- Removal such as Path to Exile, Swords to Plowshare, Exile, Oblivion Ring, maybe Excommunicate and Celestial Purge. Theres that new upcoming Harm's way from M10!

- Mass Removal

- Key Rebels

- Mana Producers

- Untap Outlets such as Staff of Domination

- Pump Enchantments such as Shared Triumph

If anyone has a list that they want to share, please feel free. I know there are more rebel synergies somewhere.

Thank you in advance

You could use Endless Horizons and Goblin Charbelcher as another combo win.

Excellent!

These are all for consideration, and will probably depend on your deck. I'd at least make sure you look over these guys, though! Some of this may be review for you, but I could have used this advice when I started!
Some of my favorites, listed by type, for your colors:

Mass Removal
Wrath of God
Hallowed Burial (This puts generals on the bottom of your opponent's library-this is awesome)
Rout (the original Wrath is the only Wrath at 4cc (Disk, Damnation), so 5cc is as good as it gets. The Instant speed is solid)
Martial Coup
Austere Command
Akroma's Vengeance

Targeted Removal
Swords and Path, obviously
Condemn- Don't overlook this. Again, Generals get sent to the bottom of the library
Temporal Isolation
Kirtar's Desire
Oblivion Ring (Be careful about Enchantments....a well timed Disenchant may wreck you, but they're pretty solid removal)

Card Advantage/Selection
Krosan Tusker
Sylvan Library
Elamadri's Call
Top
Mirri's Guile

Utility worth considering
Krosan Grip/Disenchant/Naturalize/Seal of Cleansing/etc-you'll probably want a few of these, possibly in creature form to make sure that they're never dead
Nantuko Vigilante
Indrik Stomphowler
Wickerbough Elder
Ronon Unicorn
Uktabi Orangutang
Viridian Zealot

Finally, and possibly more importantly, don't short yourself on mana! Many of the lists I see are starving for mana. The format is a lot slower than Legacy, Extended, or Type Two- you have time to make those early land drops. In Legacy, a three land hand may be questionable. In EDH, I'm nervous about a hand with only two land. We (Myself, Volt and Frogboy) all ended up with about 40-41 lands, and 6-7 artifacts (Sol Ring, Signets, Talismen, Darksteel Ingot, etc). With 2 colors instead of 5, you can probably go lower than that, but not 30 like some lists I've seen. A hand with three land and a Signet/Talismen/Whatever and three solid cards is very keepable in EDH, but in Legacy, a four mana hand needs some thought put to it. Especially with a General like Lin Sivvi, a hand with a lot of lands is very solid.

Card Advantage is key. For example, both Dismantling Blow and Orim's Thunder are better than Disenchant, because the extra mana is not nearly as important as the possibility of card advantage. The format is slower, so taking the turns to make land drops (instead of playing things that cost one or two like in Legacy) is key to the mid and late game. With forty life, the early game isn't as important as the late game. Cards like Eternal Witness, Yavimaya Elder, and Sakura Tribe Elder are a lot stronger than cards like Trained Armadon and Wild Mongel (unless you're using his ability for tricks and not aggro, of course).

Well, I hope some of that helps you! I really love EDH. I'm going to have to build a second deck that's less cut-throat and more fun!

You named so much that (nameless one) can't even consider.

Like I said, there's tons of options. You get to look at them and pick which couple make it into your deck...just pointing out some of the cards that made it into the "Maybe" or "In" piles. Pick a few that you want to run, throw it together, and see what happens. I definitely wouldn't run all of those; I probably wouldn't run half of them in the same deck. But I'd probably pick one or two from each category as a starting point, or to use to look for other cards.

Again, (nameless one), don't take that as a quarter of your deck, but see if you see anything cool in there that you could build around or fit your theme particularly well.

I don't know if y'all know Lin Sivvi's color but I can't run green.

Lin Sivvi =/ Gaddock Teag; my bad. I was thinking of Lin Sivvi's Rebel abilities on Gaddock Teag's body. Whoops.

Um, yeah. So those green cards probably aren't so awesome for your deck.

Aven Riftwatcher will net you a lot of life as Lin-Sivvi can put it from play or the graveyard back into your library.

Don't forget the changelings. Mirror Entity is pretty solid. Crib Swap counts as a Rebel, too.

Mirror Entity is actually the key creature in the deck. It's the #1 rebel I search for in my list every game. I'll toss out my list once I get home.

Is your game plan pure aggro or is it aggro/combo? I would love to have an aggro/combo path (rebel synergy FTW!)
