Any reason for no Grave Pact?

Missed on my list. The paper got really full fast and well you know. It will be in there.

in :r::b: is their a better general than Tsabo Tavoc?

I mean, seriously. 7 power, so three swings and dead. can't be blocked by other generals. Taps to destroy other generals. Lyzolda just seems cute in comparison.

Isn't EDH a casual format?

Isn't EDH a casual format?

Isn't Tsabo Tavoc a casual card? Even if you are playing for fun, your goal in the game is to win, right?

Isn't Malfegor just a better general anyway? Swap Lyzolda for Malfegor and stick to the late game.

Fleshbag Maurader
Abyssal Gatekeeper
Imperial Recruiter
Fire Imp
Ghitu Slinger
Boneshredder
Dimir Houseguard (to get Grave Pact = fun sauce)

Goblin Bombardment

Terror effects are rather weak in my testing, same goes with Lightning Bolt. Sacrifice effects that are recurrable tend to run better. That's why I really want to find Grave Pact - this deck easily finds ways to sacrifice creatures.

Living Death perhaps?

My point is, it hardly seems fun to play against Tsabo Tavoc. Aside from that, deckbuilding is the whole challenge of the format, at least for me... it doesn't matter if my deck isn't optimal, as long as its fun to play.

What?

As in, its more entertaining for me to build a fun deck, than it is for me to scour the net finding the best EDH decklist.

Not like I look at all formats like this, it pisses me off too when people are saying they want to make their UG Madness decks teir 1 and refuse to play Thresh. But EDH, to me at least, is a casual format.

Phyrexian Reclemation is really great, especially with Transmute creatures.

I went with Lyzolda because of the "fun factor".

R/B Draw engine isn't bad guys.

Living Death should be in there, along with Graveborn Muse, Phyrexian Arena.

Lose the goblin package and increase the R/b creature count. You really want to abuse her ability. Also, Carnophage is awful in EDH.

Didn't say the list was final. Looking for input. Also I'm dropping the Bolt and Incinerate etc..

Lyzolda was my first EDH, so I think I have a little advice!

#1, I see a disturbing lack of Attrition here. It's one of the very best cards for Lyzolda.

Other Lyzolda goods, for a more token-based build:

SACRIFICIAL OFFERINGS
Endrek Sahr, Master Breeder = with all your sac outlets, you can always stay under 7 counters
Brood of Cockroaches = reusable fuel for your sacrifices
Nether Traitor = see above, but cheaper!
Mogg War Marshall = not very impacting, but greases the wheels a lot
Elemental Mastery = this was much better with damage on the stack, I'd've cut this if I still had the deck together, along with Phyrexian Ghoul and Nantuko Husk
Rakdos Guildmage = a pretty hard-working dude
Bitterblossom, durrrr
Kher Keep, zomg
Puppeteer Clique = doubles as yard hate
THE PENTABUS, all aboard!

ENGINE CARDS
Slate of Ancestry and Helm of Possession = these will draw attention, and rightly so, because they're fucking strong!
Rings of Brighthearth = actually very strong here. Copy Attrition ability? Copy Lyzolda ability? Copy fetchland?
Furystoke Giant
Spawning Pit
Scavenger Drake
Rockslide Elemental
Deathbringer Thoctar
Goblin Sharpshooter

MISCELLANY
Greater Gargadon = I never liked this guy actually, you have better things to spend your tokens on
Shivan Harvest = only for utility lands like Kor Haven
Sadistic Hypnotist = not good in huge games, very strong in 2-3 player games
Woebringer Demon = Defiler of Souls #2
Ritual of the Machine = the black control magic!
Phyrexian Plaguelord
Ingot Chewer
Spitebellows = remember, you can respond to the sac trigger by saccing evoke guys to something else...like Lyzolda!
Urborg Justice

I'd cut the little sweeper effects and the 1-for-1 cards like Smother for this stuff, plus Bombardment, DHG, Fleshbag, Shredder, Redcap, Reclamation, and Kaervek, as mentioned. The only 1-for-1 noncreature (and thus difficult to recur) spell I consider usable in RB is Terminate.

Pentavus and Spawning Pit are INSANE with Grave Pact, FYI.

I always wanted to fit in Shirei, Shizo's Caretaker, but never did. Nightscape Familiar is pretty nice too. Wild Ricochet?

A little graveyard hate would not be out of order either, I would use Withered Wretch or Nezumi Graverobber.
