Nightsky Aggro

Alright, I have this deck on pauper.

I wanna try something new in Legacy so I decided to port this deck to legacy.

The Original Concept:

Nightsky Aggro
Lands:
4x Lotus Petal
4x Terramorphic Expanse
4x Plains
4x Swamp
2x Barren Moor
2x Secluded Steppe

Creatures:
4x Nip Gwyllion
4x Mourning Thrull
4x Nightsky Mimic
4x Blind Hunter
3x Phyrexian Rager Spells:
4x Beckon Apparition
4x Edge of the Divinity
4x Castigate
4x Unmake
3x Oblivion Ring

Basically the point of this is to have Nightsky Mimic 'on the battlefield' and keep 'casting' spells to make it a 4/4 flying every turn. Couple him up with Edge of the Divinity and you have a 7/7 flying dude. The deck is pretty fast within the Pauper format. Ive actually playtested this deck with existing Standard and Extended decks and it was doing well.

As you can see its all commons and this version will not go far in Legacy. I am planning to port this deck to Legacy because I believe the deck is fun and I want to see something new on the table.

I know the deck is still shaky but i believe that it can be turned into a meta surprising deck. Any positive comments or suggestions are welcome.

Do you need such a high volume of BW cards to trigger the mimic? From what I've seen of the pauper deck, you can cut a few more and still have relative consistency.

I guess I'm looking for Dark Confidant. That'd make me pretty happy.

In pauper, you should run Nip Gwyllion. Or that one card that's like

Why would you EVER want to play this deck in a competitive environment? What makes it at all viable?

There is already a BW deck similar to this called Deadguy Ale. As of late, it has sucked because of tarmogoyf:

If you want to post a BW variation and want to be taken seriously, I recommend going to that thread instead of starting a new one.

It doesn't have to be WB gold heavy. Maybe just enough to support Nightsky Mimic and the whole deck. I do like the idea of Bob. The pauper version has that late-game problem in the card advantage department. Bob certainly helps.

That instant is called Beckon Apparition and it is awesome because it can act as a Giant Growth on an online Nightsky Mimic.

Deadguy Ale is good and all but Deadguy has that control 1st gameplay. Nightsky Aggro is aggro with support revolving Nightsky Mimic. I know they're the same colors but they do have a different flavor.

Know a guy from Lund, Sweden. When the guys from Lund Traveled to Copenhagen for the monthly Legacy on Faros Cigar he played a Nightsky Mimic aggro and did get to the top 8, think he even finished second. And his newest version looks like this.
