Check out their youtube channel, they have been taping the LCL events for some months.

EDIT: I guess foreigners can hardly understand how much gold is in these vids... :(

This video coverage is great!

Just try to hold the camera still... or put it on a tripod. :)

Thanks!

The ANT guy should have never keeped his hand in the first game of the finals. 2 Chrome Moxes after mulligan to 6 are just not enough. Heck, that's like a mulligan down to 4 cards.
He also could have looked into the Top EOT instead of using Mystical Tutor and play out Mystical for something good during mainphase.

Also the Goyfsligh player shouldn't have played Fireblast in response to Ad Nauseam in game 3.

But props for filming all this. It was interesting to watch.

Team America minus the Sinkholes plus EE and Shadowmage Infiltrator. I like.

I don't think Shadowmage it's a card for this deck, because Team America wants tempo!

True, though I've seen Tempo Thresh lists running Confidant and against non-black decks the CA and dmg with Shadowmage is about the same. It costs more but you also don't take life loss. Tempo Bant plays plenty of 3cc creatures.

Hey Enric

Good work on the videos. Like the others have stated : Could you please use a tripod or something to hold the camera still

I would like to follow your MtG videos via rss. Could you please create an channel or playlist for the MtG videos only?

Hi and thanks for the advice. Tomorrow it's the LCL's invitational final tournament. I will try to use a tripod.

I would like to follow your MtG videos via rss. Could you please create an channel or playlist for the MtG videos only?
I don't know how to do that :P

Ok, you can not create multiple channels from one account ( Here (http://google.about.com/od/googleonyourtv/qt/change_channel_type.htm) ). So you would have to create a new account for a new channel. Well nothing i can ask you to do.

But it would be nice if you create a Playlist (http://www.google.com/support/youtube/bin/answer.py?hl=en&answer=57792) from all the videos.

Because you can follow playlists via

http://gdata.youtube.com/feeds/api/playlists/PLAYLIST_ID?v=2

I've created a playlist (http://www.youtube.com/view_play_list?p=0C4F399EEFD84258) with all mtg videos, in order, it's ok?

If we are in a 'wishlist' mode than it would be lovely if you would add deck archetypes next to player names in video titles (or at the very least - in comments). That way, if someone wants to see say ANT in play he don't have to click each movie. Adding short 'MTG' or 'Magic' to the title would also help random people finding videos in youtube search engine.

Other than that - I spent quite a lot of time looking for some exact records of pro legacy games and they are surprisingly hard to find. Even if I don't get a word in Spanish those are the most clear to understand for me I have ever found. Great job on zooming on cards / adding card names when they are not clear.

Enric
12-11-2009, 11:43 AM
The archetypes are in the commenst of the video (at right). I won't put it into the title because it will make it too long. I know that most of you don't know Catalan (because comments are made in Catalan (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Catalan_language)) but near the player's name there's the archetype.

Adding short 'MTG' or 'Magic' to the title would also help random people finding videos in youtube search engine.
I use the tags to do this, they're hide, but if you search "mtg legacy" you'll find these videos soon or later.

Those threshold players in the vids sucked total shit.

You should put up videos of people who actually know what they are doing  .

Same with no one tapping mana to bluff when they have their lands wastelanded. M10 rules allow for such interesting poker strategies and they don't use it..

And with Combo player in that video.

Yeah... I just watched the combo MU.

I totally agree. Not to mention all 3 of them made several subtle mis-plays that ended up screwing them over later in the game.

I completely agree. Watching them play tempo thresh like that make me feel sad. They don't float mana when their land get wasted. They don't float mana when they return an island for daze. I have no idea how they made to top 8.

The bloodghast dredge w/ loam from the October LCL event was pretty good tho. More action from those players please.

Still, good work in recording and posting those videos. I'm glad there are more interesting Legacy videos like those on Youtube and other channels, I'm sick of staring at all those fucking Standard shit.

Legacy, since it's steadily growing, needs more support and propaganda, and making videos on the top8s matches of big tourneys could drive people to our beautiful format. I wouldn't dislike in-depth tutorials on how-to-play certain decks, too.

In this playlist (http://www.youtube.com/view_play_list?p=0C4F399EEFD84258) you can find all videos including October and September ones.

And you can also see decklists: October (http://www.lamaquinadeltemps.com/articulos/articulo/199) and September (http://www.deckcheck.net/event.php?event=9%AA+LCL).

Much appreciation for your thread! Though these are simply YouTube videos, I find it quite convenient that they are all available in a single forum post (especially since I had no prior knowledge of the event's existence). Very cool, Enric. :)

It would be nice to have more of these vids all around the world. I'll try to make this happen for the next Montreal legacy's tournaments, so you guys wouldn't be as discouraged by the bad plays...

It's funny to see how David Minarro dodged all the bad matchups within the Top8, TempoThresh would have reduced him to ashes.

That build looks interesting tho, I'd like to discuss that.

This is great, thanks for uploading it for us :)

One small thing, though; could you perhaps edit out the shuffling bits? Seeing what people board in and out is interesting though, but perhaps you could leave that (or write it in the info section), and cut out the shuffling?
