I just filmed some matches at yesterday's Legacy in Munich which I wanted to share. Nothing special, just some random games I managed to catch on tape during the rounds. I plan on doing this to a much larger extend in the future because I really love watching Legacy games and there are really only just a few on youtube.

The quality isn't the best as I had to decrease it in order to upload it in a reasonable amount of time.

Duc Tran (Goyfslig/Zoo) vs Matthias Wagner (Survival Elves) game 3 part1, both@[1-0] (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6txE2N4JFp8&feature=related&fmt=18)
Duc Tran (Goyfslig/Zoo) vs Matthias Wagner (Survival Elves) game 3 part2 (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Zt1CP7wJ-_0&feature=related&fmt=18)
Duc Tran (Goyfsligh/Zoo) vs. Anton Karlinski (It's The Fear) game 3, both@[2-0] (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=z06n9Cfdo20&fmt=18)
Michael Thiel (Wuascht Survival) vs. Simon Fassl (Ugw Counterbalance) game 3, both@[2-1] (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EFc1vaK5IqM&feature=channel&fmt=18)

Please excuse the camera angel in the last game I posted. I credit it to my inexperience in filming magic games that I forgot what it would look like on a device that can't be turned sideways as easily as a digicam ;-).

Heh, now i can see german legacy on youtube, good work thank you !!!

Sadly the video about wuascht survival is too short, the comments and name of cards are good and helpful, sometimes i couldn't recognize the picture. The comments about the blind cabal was very good
Please more of that !!!

Are there somewhere the results of the tourney ?

I'm really surprised how the guys in the last game interact. They just grab each others cards and tap each others land. Is this common for german players or is this just two guys who know each other?

Haha, that's exactly what my girlfriend asked me when I showed her the videos to give her a little introduction to the game.

These guys just know each other, nothing special. I guess they wouldn't touch the cards of people they don't know.

Why is Simon not playing solidarity!?

Simon Fassl != Simon Ritzka (the Solidarity guy =)

I guess he was referring to the final standings. It seems Simon (Ritzka) recently dropped Solidarity in favour of Dreadstill seeing how he already played it in the last tournament, I believe.

I would have called a judge when, in the second video at 2:33, that guy shuffled his deck no more than twice before giving it to his opponent. That, especially with the fact that he was turning cards around in his library, is worth some penalty imo. (And yes, I know some of the cards were upside down, which was probably the reason for turning them, but that alone should be considered some form of Marked Cards.)

It just bothered me. But thanks for the videos. I always enjoy watching other people play Magic.

I can see what you're saying. This guy played his first-ever Legacy tournament, usually he just hangs out at the shop playing casual Snake-decks and Dragonstorm. You can tell that he doesn't know what playing in an actual tournament is like.
At the time he only shuffles twice he was looking for the Savannah that was already in his hand (he even checked!) and got nervous because he didn't find it. When he started turning his cards because about 50% were upside down (my guess is, after game 2 he put them back heading in the wrong direction) I told him to stop because it would take ages and they were already about 5 minutes before time would be called. I guess this put him on even more pressure than he already felt he was on and thus only shuffled two times before presenting. He's just such a newbie when it comes to tournaments..see the game where he randomly decides which card to give to his opponent playing Intuition.

Good videos. I especially appreciated the effort to put the name of the cards as video comment.

I look forward more videos with that much added value.
