As you can see this deck is not complete. I am hoping for comments and suggestions on what cards to put into the deck. I am also looking for an explanation as to why you think the card is good and why it would be useful in my deck. I am also open to constructive criticism on the deck and its effectiveness.

This deck is search heavy and is comprised of many combo's. I do not foresee a problem with getting the cards in hand when needed. The deck should be speedy and versatile (since it uses the 3 best colors-white, blue and black).

A few key things in the deck:
- Tutoring: The deck is comprised of some of the best tutors in the game, which allow you pretty much every out possible.
-Drawing: Various draw spells and artifacts which allow for a larger hand size giving the player greater chance to combo out.
- Mana Ramping: Numerous cards which give the player optimal mana.

I saw a local guy go off with Sculpting Steel and Disciple of the Vault. Very nice arbitrarily large combo and very hard to disrupt.

I've never built Sharuum EDH so I can't give you much more than that. But I didn't really want to leave you hanging with no replies. Good luck.

Basic info is helpful... For example do you want this for multiplayer or one on one? Personally I don't think you really need alot of combo's. Sharrum is stupuid good even going into the long game because of BS like Open the Vaults or its little brother from Fifth dawn I think (I forgot the cards name but it does almost the same).

If you wana give some general guideance we can then guide you alot better. Just a heads up.

well tornys are 4 players so i would like this multi player. but again have it good for one v one. im trying to make this deck as broken as it possibly can adding all the combos. iv seen so many builds and im more or less trying to create my own build.

@umbowta- i like the sculpting steel disciple idea iv seen something similar. i forgot about that combo thanks for bringing it up

It is really hard to make a perfect deck for multiplayer and 1V1. Believe me I have tried. Personally if you want to make the most busted combo deck imaginable I would cut white and just run Oona. That way a third of our combo is at easy access... Otherwise you are running a bunch of mini combos. Oona decks are sick in that she can pull alot of weight by herself unlike Mr Hegemon.

If you wana stick with him perhaps a general thought on what your opponents will be playing deckwise. Creature based... Combo based... control? or you have no idea and need a well rounded list.

Couple changes to the deck iv made are:
+damnation
+stroke of genius
-ancient tomb
-master transmuter

When I get them:

-timetwister
-mishra's workshop
-mana drain
-imperial seal
-bazaar of baghdad

Replacements (cards being replaced by the above cards)

frantic search
fact or fiction
azorius signet

The lands are a toss up right now!!

As you can see there's really now creature power here its all combo. Few combos to look for are disciple, sculpting steel, sharuum. While disciple is in play u cast sharuum. If sculpting steel is in grave u grab that if it isnt what ever the case may be . Cast steel copy sharuum goes on the stack sharuum and steel legendary trait goes off it dies then the ability of sharuum from sculpting goes off bring back sharuum then steel. Rinse and repeat . Another way is power artifact on one of the mana producing lands that gives 3 colorless gianing 1-2 mana each time you tap n untap. Doing this gains infinite mana combo. You can then cast stroke or braingeyser to force your opp. to draw his entire deck. with yawgmoths will you can replay these and or disciple combo out each n ever opp. wins around turn 3-4 very fast n powerful.

You can also use sculpting steel to kill your own Sharuum if it's stolen by someone else. It's also great for killing Memnarch. I also use Arena of the Ancients, which is kind of useful for shutting down aggressive generals.
