[budget] u/b fae

I started out looking at a u/b/r fae list that top 8'd a recent SCG legacy tournament.
As I don't own any duals anymore (i can't tell you how many playsets i've sold off over the 16 years of this mtg addiction, but..) I am hesitant to go 3 colors just for terminate/firespout as I'll be using shocklands/etc in the place of duals.

here is the list I'm working with with a few uncertain spots in it:

what have been other people's experience with a similar list running either the wasteland/stifle engine or bob's for card draw in budget lists? I'd not like to go into the countertop direction...

my meta is going to be mostly aggro with some combo and a little control

has anyone worked with putting the thopter combo into fae lists? It ran rather smoothly in the last extended ptq's but not sure how it would translate to legacy

If you are running against mostly aggro decks, I would recommend going in a much more mid-range approach.

I do that by using a Trinx package:

I've tried Thopter/Sword with faeries, Scepter/Chant with faeries, BOTH with faeries, and CounterTop with faeries. TBH, I feel the best way to use it is to either go with the tempo version (which most folks use with Stifle/Wasteland/Tombstalker) or to do a more aggressive list with possibly a playset of Scion of Oona. My version is an attempt at a more tempo-related version. I don't have fetches/Wasteland/Force of Will, but the deck at it's core is similar. Control the early game, get some board advantage in the mid-game, attack FTW.
