Die Hard Games is moving after 4 years in its Pawtucket Main St. Location to a new location twice the square footage and just 2 miles away =D

This event is just a few days away! We're re-opening Friday and this marks our first big event on Sunday. Our new store kicks all kinds of ass and I'm very excited to show it to everyone.

We're located on 101 Higginson Ave #111 in what was formerly curves. Just 2 miles away from our old store. Our phone number is the same at (401) 312-3407. It should be re-activated in another day or so.

We also kick off our weekly legacy with a super thursday night event on 8/11 with 4 foil mental misstep! Entry is $10 and starts at 6:30 pm. At 20 or more players we will also give away a DCI foil promo Dark Confidant to second place! :cool:

We had a great re-opening at our new store with 20 for fnm. We're also having a box tourney today at 1pm, then our legacy tomorrow!

Had 37 players. Very happy with turnout. Everyone seemed happy.

My hired help didnt show and are now my fired help :tongue:

I ran the event completely by myself, which i didn't mind doing. <3
The judge calls were reasonable and I thank everyone for that :laugh:

Top 4 split. Nick Malatesta /w Elves and Nick Wilbur /w RUG zoo were the two undefeated players.

I couldnt find my bayous so I upgraded them to Volcs. Top 4 didnt seem to mind as they each got a Volc, Trop, Tundra and Plateau. Plus everyone opted to pre-order from the vaults.

5th-8th got credit. We had 11 for the Foil sword of fi/ice side event and I gave out that and more credit.

Lots of new faces. Many people told me they were showing up for this Thursday's foil misstep tourney, and that made me feel warm and fuzzy.

i mentioned this to top 4, but it looks like the only negative coming out of the whole thing is that I probably can't sanction the main event because reporter blew up towards the end of the tourney and deleted all the damn results. This made me unhappy :rolleyes:

I'll try to fix that, but it's not looking pretty. :frown: Sorry to those who were trying to get points from the main event, but it was only 16k value so it's not the end of the world and I don't have a track record for this kind of stuff.

Top 4 split and i genuinely think everyone had a good time. If not feel free to yell at me in this thread :tongue:

I'll be doing another gigantor Sunday legacy very soon... with even bigger prizes :eek:
I hope to see people this Thursday in the mean time for our Super Thursday night Legacy.
