Environment
This deck is meant for a casual, multiplayer environment. Combos that immediately win the game are looked down upon, although not outright banned. Furthermore, Mind Twist effects are to be avoided unless they effect all players (even you), as its the same people playing each week. Mass land destruction is off limits for the same reasons.

Plan
The plan for this deck is pretty simple.

Kill some guys.
Cast Geth
Make degenerate amounts of mana.
Beat my opponent's with their own stuff.

I have no real intentions of doing anything else.

As of now, the list is incomplete. Here's what I'm considering so far:

//---Lands---
Cabal Coffers
Petrified Field
Terrain Generator
Buried Ruin
Marsh Flats
Polluted Delta
Verdant Catacombs
Bloodstained Mire

//---Mana---
Nirkana Revenant
Caged Sun
Extraplanar Lense
Gauntlet of Power
Journeyer's Kite
Thawing Glaciers
Altar of Shadows
Black Market
Magus of the Coffers
Doubling Cube
Everflowing Chalice
Soldevi Adnate
Priest of Yawgmoth
Grim Discovery
Expedition Map
Crucible of Worlds

//---Search and Draw---
Demonic Tutor
Beseach the Queen
Diabolic Tutor
Sign in Blood
Planar Portal
Shred Memory (transmute)
Brainspoil (transmute)
Phyrexian Arena
Viscera Seer
Planar Portal

//---Removal---
Drain Life
Consume Spirit
Swallowing Plague
Exsanguinate
Spine of Ish Shah
Gate to Phyrexia
Magus of the Abyss
Rotting Rats
Tendrils of Corruption
Corrupt
Hex
Plague Wind
Syphon Mind
Dread
Barter in Blood
Midnight Banshee
Mutilate
Damnation
Call to the Grave

(So far only 45 spells, 8 lands)

My biggest fear is losing the ability to use Geth. The only effective ways my opponent's have of doing this are making me shuffle him away, and via Pithing Needle effects. The tutors are the primary way of finding him again if he's shuffled, although I gain some added protection from both my own sacrifice outlets and any my opponent's might allow to die.

Pithing Needle, however, can only be answered by a few cards: Gate to Phyrexia and Spine of Ish Shah. I realize that there are other ways, but most of them seem extremely mediocre--it's not as if a Needle is going to be played every game.

As far as budget goes, I am not in the habit of spending a lot of money on my EDH decks. This is why The Abyss does not make an appearance.

Thoughts?

A few cards I believe you might want

Urborg, Tomb of Yawgmoth
Syphon Flesh
Sol Ring although your playgroup may have decided that this is too powerful
Graveborn Muse
Steel Hellkite
Duplicant
Lashwrithe
Promise of Power
Night's Whisper
Ambition's Cost

If you want additional removal Oblivion Stone and Nevinyrral's Disk could be considered.

Night's Whisper and Ambition's Cost are both making the cut.

For a while I was somewhat afraid of casting Graveborn Muse due to the life loss from multiple zombies, but this was likely just The Fear.

Duplilcant doesn't do anything I want--I'd rather have Doom Blade or some such. Lashwrithe and Steel Hellkite are both powerful, but don't fit with the deck's theme.

Syphon Flesh is perfect, although a bit expensive.

I don't want Oblivion Stone or the Disk because I never want to destroy my own mana generators.

Urborg is fine, but it does have the problem of getting Legend-ruled all the time.
