Here are the prizes for the weekly (Sunday) Legacy tournaments at Pop Culture Paradise for the next couple months. Additional payout is in store credit, and is based on attendance. The entry fee is always $5 (except for the Moat tournament). Tournaments start at 1pm.

The top 2 Legacy players for the month of September (9/4 - 9/18) will receive free entry for the tournement on 9/25/11. Each match you win throughout the month will increase your chances of qualifying for the free entry! I don't know what the prize will be yet, but Marco said he'd try to get some Wastelands or duals. So come on out and play some Legacy!

What's the meta like up there? I might be able to convince someone to give me a ride for the Moat tournament.

The meta is competitive and fairly diverse (except you can bank on like 3 Merfolk decks at every tournament). Every now and then someone shows up with a budget deck, but ususally everyone is playing something legit.

Some of the recent decks were: Merfolk, Zoo, TES, Affinity, Dredge, Aggro Loam, New Horizons, Reanimator, 4 Horsemen, B/W Discard, Blade Control, Stacks, 43 Lands, etc. It is different every week depending on who shows up.

Hope you can make it for the Moat tourney. The one at the end of September should be sweet too. I will post the prize as soon as I find out.
