I shall be there, and hopefully bring some peoples along again. Unfortunately I won't be able to stay for the Modern, have work that day.

Can't wait. I actually am starting to like the deck I'm playing and even might make a few changes. Sadly the Hawks have left the list...they are greatly missed

Are any of these side events non-sanctioned?

Vintage and edh are non-sanctioned events, but all the others are.

I'll play a Vintage side if I'm not top 8ing.

Sweet, at least I can go play some awesome EDH side events with a terrible but awesome looking deck. Or maybe vintage if I can somehow get a list lent to me.

Erie car showing up to find ever more depressing ways to lose games.

Also, one of my boardgaming friends is coming along. She does want to check out your wicked awesome selection of board games, but count her in for at least a couple drafts.

Is the vintage going to rock any proxies?

SavageNern
09-06-2011, 11:34 AM
Yes vintage would be a 10 proxy tournament if people want to play it. and if you want 5 more proxy cards (a total of 15) it will cost you $5 more making the total $20 to enter.

Haven't played in a Legacy tournament since April, and that was with a shitty deck

In the words of Bart Scott....CAN'T WAIT!

We can run a modern side event if people are interested that day.

Is there still going to be a tournament with all the flooding that I have heard about in the surrounding areas?

On Twitter:

"Due to the continued flooding and road closures JUPITER GAMES WILL NOT BE HOSTING THE NELC QUALIFIER ON 9/10/11 (or Modern on the 11th)"

Thanks for the heads up, cancelling my hotel reservations now. Had it not been for this post, it would have been a pretty frustrating Friday night.

Yeah our apologies guys but due to the extensive flooding, and with more rain on the way we will be canceling the legacy event for this weekend. We may reschedule the event so I will post on here once we make our decision about rescheduling.

if it's within the next two weeks, I won't be able to go sadly due to already being scheduled to work up until the 23rd

It may be a good idea to create a "pre-registration" form on your website for these events. That way, you could send batch e-mails when something like this occurs. This also comes with the added benefit of forecasting attendance. Just a thought.

Hopefully we can get one in before snapcaster mage happens.

But this flood is pretty intense.
