Any chance we could get 8-mans for store credit instead of boxes?

Yo, those were my foothills, yo.

Also, anyone from the Pomona/City of Industry area going to this? I could use a ride...

Any side events tournaments could be arranged, depending on the players.

Is the pre-release running the same day?

Just curious.

Anyone from the west/downtown/coastal area planning on going? I could use a ride as well and would be more than happy to chip in for gas.

How many people showed up?

What was the top 8?

14 showed, downgraded it to a store credit event with top 4, which was aggro loam, U/W stoneblade, U/W Landstill, and I think Team America.

I am sure it was just bad timing with the prerelease and the banning at the same time. I know I was prereleasing but hope to be their next time.

It's football season, which is why I decided not to attend.

Would you be inclined to attend on Saturday's? Or is college football also going to keep people home?

Saturday would be better IMO but that's just me because I watch football on sundays. I don't watch too much college football.

I would rather play Legacy on Saturdays this time of year, as I have a fondness for the NFL and gambling, but I will usually skip it for magic, thus my prerelease presence yesterday.

I never understand why tournaments are not on Saturdays. Tournaments start relatively late in the day, (1:00), and ends around 10:00.

I mean I need to get home for work the next day you know.

I agree wholeheartedly, especially because I have to get up for work at 4:45am.

While I agree that Saturday would be more convenient for a plethora of reasons, I think not having to fuck around with parking meters is a great plus for Sunday. Fuck parking cops. Get bitches.

I agree with the parking thing.

I understand that parking meters are an issue for KW, but is it the same for MTGDeals? And as for the work thing, that is my primary reason as well, I start work on mondays at 5 am.

Pretty sure there's no meters at MTGdeals. That's a KW issue only as far as I know.
