Alternate Universes Blue Bell is hosting a Pro Tour Qualifier Tournament on Saturday, December 29th in Room 201A of the Pennsylvania Convention Center, 11th & Arch Streets, Philadelphia, PA. Vendors will be present to buy, sell and trade MTG cards and to sell accessories. Here are the details:
Format: Modern
Cost: $30
Registration Time: 9:00am
Round 1 Starts: 10:00am
Prizing: 1st Place – Airfare to Pro Tour: San Diego
Top 8 playoff participants receive an exclusive Pro Tour Qualifier Top 8 playmat (see below)
Top 16 receive booster prizes based on attendance
Planeswalker Points multiplier 5x, REL: Competitive
Swiss rounds (expect 7-9 rounds); best of 3 games; Cut to Top 8
*Side Events will begin after Round 2
$15 Drafts (8-player pods); single elimination
$15 Standard constructed Win-a-Box (8-player pods); single elimination
