It's a really simple strategy. You play efficient beaters and hope to double strike with them once for an unfair amount then burn your opponent out. If you can keep your board presence with your spells, then do it and just aggro them out of the game. The Paladin, Charm, and Ajani provide 10 ways to acquire double strike. The creatures curve into these plays very nicely.

I have found that holding lands to save for landfall is usually better. You don't have a very greedy deck so only play out the mana you need.

The sideboard should probably play Canonist and other combo disruption. Maybe Leyline of Sanctity. I like Searing Blaze in any aggro deck so I'd put a few of those in the board as well.

Nice deck. It's called Brozek Boros, from old Extended, but you have some new toys now.
Here's a list (http://sales.starcitygames.com/deckdatabase/displaydeck.php?DeckID=40352) for an updated one. (well, not so much)

Some suggestions would be Flagstones of Trokair and Ghost Quarter, to give you multiple Landfalls trigger in a turn.
Zektar Shrine Expedition is also quite good in the Landfall/Double Strike mechanic. You can get it active by turn 3 with the lands I mentioned.
