I wonder if there is a way to make this combo deck viable...

//23 mana sources:
4 Simian Spirit Guide
4 Gemstone Caverns
15 Mountain

//8 token-making creatures:
4 Young Pyromancer
4 Mogg War-Marshall
1 Guttersnipe

//27 spells:
4 Infernal Plunge
4 Krenko's Command
4 Dragon Fodder
4 Battle Hymn
4 Manamorphose
3 Past in Flames
4 Reforge the Soul

//3 win:
2 Burn at the Stake
1 Guttersnipe

//sideboard:
2 Ingot Chewer
2 Smelt
4 Leyline of Sanctity
3 Vexing Shusher
4 Goblin Bushwhacker

Maybe this needs a blue splash for Serum Visions/cantrips and Goblin Electromancer? The idea is that your 2-drops make a bunch of tokens, you cast spells to make more tokens, your tokens make mana, you start Reforging through your deck and win by Guttersniping as you chain spells or via Burn at the Stake

Hmm.. with a green splash instead, Xenagos could be in here as an additional Battle Hymn effect, adding tons of mana and consistency. You could even just sideboard into a legitimate RG token aggro deck with Parallel Lives and Muraganda Petroglyphs and planeswalkers to make yourself immune to gravehate and combo hate and such.

This should be RUG for cantrips and Beck. There is a relatively cool deck in Standard doing it. Instead of ignoring it, just port that.

Was testing something like this for a bit:
//15
1 Cascade Bluffs
2 Steam Vents
2 Shivan Reef
4 Scalding Tarn
2 Misty Rainforest
2 Island
2 Mountain

//33
4 Gitaxian Probe
4 Sleight of Hand
4 Manamorphose
4 Faithless Looting
4 Desperate Ritual
4 Pyretic Ritual
1 Past in Flames
4 Empty the Warrens
4 Battle Hymn

//12
4 Goblin Electromancer
4 Young Pyromancer
4 Goblin Bushwhacker

Couldn't really come up with a good sideboard plan, but basically Bushwhacker is a 'better' Burn at the Stake most of the time with the exception of playing against Ensnaring Bridge or something random like that.

Seriously guys, when using cards that aren't normal in the metagame (or just in general) tag them using [cards ] [/cards ]

Also, the red god seems like a perfect win condition http://forums.mtgsalvation.com/attachment.php?attachmentid=145222&stc=1&d=1378159538

This was, roughly, a port of the Standard deck, using Battle Hymn + Past in Flames + tokens to generate tons of red mana and then Reforge the Souls to dig through the deck and Burn at the Stake as a final kill. I cut some of the digging power for more redundant tokens, which may have been a mistake. I wanted the deck to have the option of SBing into token aggro in case opponents played gravehate or storm hate. Being vulnerable to both AND creature removal turns on a lot of SB cards :(

Yeah, Purphoros seems like a great win condition. Deals as much damage as Bushwhacker but you don't even need a combat step and still works when you are just playing token rush and can't combo off.

The R/G planeswalker seems potentially good too, both making tokens and acting as copies 5 and 6 of Battle Hymn. You seriously want as many of those as possible.

I don't know if blue is necessary. Sleight of Hand/Serum Visions are pretty mediocre cantrips in terms of sculpting a combo hand, and the newer versions in Standard don't even run Goblin Electromancer anymore! Now with Young Pyromancer, a lot of them just run other redundant token generators and ways to win through tokens. Some splash white/black instead for Lingering Souls and Intangible Virtue, some just play mono-red.

If this was to stay mono-red...
