If you need to car pool to Columbus, post your needs and we'll find someone whom you can travel with. I'll start a signup if necessary.

WHEN: Saturday, December 21, 2013 1:00 PM ET

The store opens at 11:30 AM. Registration starts at 12:30 PM. Registration will close and the tournament begins at 1:00 PM, sharp. To save time, consider typing or writing up your decklist ahead of time.

PROXIES: UNLIMITED PROXIES will be permitted.

There are THREE ways of making proxies:

1) The first and most basic is taking a basic land card and writing the details of the card on it.
2) PREFERRED! The second method is to take a card that shares some of the characteristics with the card that is being proxied and erase any characteristics that do not match, replacing them with the correct characteristics. See: http://forums.starcitygames.com/viewtopic.php?t=291560 for more details on how to do this.
3) the third is to print out all 75 cards, and slip the sheet of paper into each sleeve. If you do this, every card must be proxied.

As usual, we'll have Vintage Achievements and the fantastic Achievements Prize Pool!

We will be doing Vintage Achievements at this tournament! I will be bringing some extra prizes to hand out to people who earn points for meeting goals such as:

Givin’ him the business :: Win a game on your first turn
The Hard Way :: Cast a permanent that costs eight (8) or more
Old School :: Have all five original Moxen in play
Float like a Spirit Token, sting like a Welder! :: Attack for exactly one (1) damage
Is that all you’ve got?! :: Beat turn 1, resolved: Jace, Trinisphere, Oath or Tinker
Global Warming :: Control a Smokestack with three (3) or more soot counters
After you :: Deck your opponent with Ancestral Recall
Et tu, Bobby? :: Lose a game to a permanent you control
Cut Heard 'Round the World :: Cut your opponent's deck to a game-winning or game-losing topdeck

Let's do this!

Live in Cleveland, but after watching the Vintage champs, desperately want to give the format a shot. Might stop up if I am not working that day. FYI, the proxy link is busted!

Proposed achievment: Double Kill - Beat your opponent with regular damage and something else (like infect counters or milling your opponent) on a same action.

Hey Vintage interested Cleveland-er we usually battle at Panera Bread in Lakewood every Tuesday and Wednesday night around 6:30 if you want to give the format a shot in advance of the TSO. Just look for the guys high fiving after making bad plays that will be us.

Highly interested in that if you allow a fairly large amount of proxies!

My friend and I play a lot of Magic, all formats, and he told me he ran into some dudes playing Vintage at a Panera like 3 weeks ago, small world. I will PM you on a night I can make it! Thanks for the invite.
