Decided I wanted to play a mono-Blue variant in Modern. Master of Waves seems sweet, Jace is generally excellent, and the rest of the shell I'm familiar with being good cards in Modern, so lets see how it pans out. Fairly straight-forward plan. Resolve powerful stuff, stop them resolving powerful stuff, and win during the Combat Step.
I opted for a Red splash, as I felt that Bolt was necessary, then just threw a couple of useful Electro's in. Games should play put similar to Merfolk, but with a much less aggressive, more grindy feel.
