Think this is viable?

So, we've got a pretty good legacy scene going at my local shops, and between rounds of Legacy and stuff, a number of people have started playing Vintage for a bit of fun. Unlimited proxies and stuff.

I've decided I want in and I was looking at my options. I like land based decks generally, cause lands are fun, so what do people think to a Fastbond deck, with Scapeshift. Use fastbond, fetches, Crucible and stuff to ramp up to 8 lands quickly and try to go off with Scapeshift to combo kill people. I could also have burning wish and stuff, with scapeshift in the sideboard, and have a gush type deck.

Opinions? Suggestions? Or is it just unviable?
