I recently started playing Vintage, which I was able to afford because I have a MTGO Account.

I started with some Storm decks, that were fun, but I didn't do all that well with them. Recently, I picked up oath, and then the OmniOath deck that's the new hottness (compared to Reg Oath that used to be everywhere).

I've been playing for just under two weeks, and I have had the Oath shell for maybe 5 days. I jumped into a daily, and did pretty good: http://www.mtggoldfish.com/deck/276018#online

The sideboard I made myself, and the main deck was an old list that I downloaded.

Since almost going undefeated, I wanted to try the OmniOath deck, to see if it was better, or more powerful. I thought maybe that it could make the difference in winning one more match and going undefeated.

So, I haven't taken this list into an event yet. I've just been hitting the tournament practice room. It's been really up and down, though. Some games, you get busted draws, and the deck shows just how strong it really is. Other games, you get ranched while sitting there with four uncastable cards in your grip.

I haven't done enough playing with the deck to make up my mind yet, but I can say that winning with my traditional oath list came much easier. Also, even when omnioath gets a fast omniscience out, you can lose. The deck runs four shows, four omni, so factor in lands and moxes as well, and you stand a chance of sitting for a few turns praying for a dig through time.

If you do hit dig, you can usually draw through your deck, and that way you will end up winning by using Emrakul's free timewalk.

If anyone else has any opinions on either deck, I'd love to hear them.

For anyone interested, here is my latest article, which covers the traditional Oath of Druids deck that I took to a Daily Event.
