If you've ever wondered about Vintage as a format, here is your chance to jump in! With an UNLIMITED number of playtesting cards, this unsanctioned event is an accessible window into one of the most powerful and interesting ways to play Magic: the Gathering! Kidforce Collectibles happens to be one of the most popular stores in the area for eternal cards and tournaments, so this is also a great chance to get together as a community to grow the local Vintage scene.
If you don't know anything about Vintage, don't let that deter you - feel free to ask any questions on the event page and one of the veteran players will assuredly take the time to help you. Suggestions for the event are also welcome and, as always, stay 1000% SERIOUS!
PRIZE POOLS
(8 Players):
1st Place: Judge Promo Island (Neilsen) or $100 Store Credit
2nd Place: Choice of Plateau, Badlands, Scrubland or $50 Store credit
3rd/4th Place: $25 Store Credit
(16 Players):
1st Place: Choice of Guru Mountain, Guru Plains, Guru Forest or $200 Store Credit.
2nd Place: Judge Promo Island (Neilsen) or $100 Store Credit
3rd/4th Place: Choice of Plateau, Badlands, Scrubland or $50 Store Credit
(20 Players):
1st Place: Choice of Guru Mountain, Guru Plains, Guru Forest or $200 Store Credit.
2nd Place: Judge Promo Island (Neilsen) or $100 Store Credit
3rd/4th Place: Choice of Plateau, Badlands, Scrubland or $50 Store Credit
5th-8th place: $25 Store Credit
For each additional 6 players beyond 20, a pack of Italian Revised ($175 retail value) featuring Black Bordered Dual Lands will be added to the Prize Pool! At 26 players, the pack will be added to 1st place. At 32 Players, the pack will be added to both 1st and 2nd place, etc. A store credit option of $150 will be alternatively available.

PLAYTEST CARDS:
Playtest cards must remain the same thickness as a regular card. If you print your playtest card images, a basic land + paper happens to be the same thickness as a non-playtest card + a perfect fit sleeve. It is preferred that you use the same method of creating playtest cards consistently in your deck.
Alternatively, if you do not want to use a printer, you can take a white/magic eraser to remove the ink from a card of similar cost, type, and power/toughness. As an example, if I wanted to use "Ornithopter" to represent "Mox Pearl", I would need to erase the card name, type sans "Artifact", rules text, and power/toughness. Then, using a sharpie or other permanent writing tool, I would write "Mox Pearl" in the name box and "T: Add {G} to your mana pool" in the text box.
All cards must be LEGIBLE and must indicate their full functionality, unless approved by a judge.
