Mishra is activated as a 2/2 creature. 2 -1/-1 counters are put on it. In response, I tap it so it becomes 3/3.
Do the counters remain at EOT ?
If next turn I activate it again as a 2/2 creature, is it destroyed ?

Counters stay on it even if it changes from a creature to a land. So it would die next turn if you animated it as a 2/2

QFT.
They used that trick in affinity, a huge ravager was gona die so put its counters on a blinkmonth nexus, now you got a huge nexus swinging every turn.

The best part was watching bad players with ravager not putting the counters on a nexus and swinging for the win. The counter-nexus trick was so good for getting around wrath and vengeance, by attacking then saccing everything if you new they were going to do it.

Sorry for necroing, but it`s a Mishra question:
Can I, in any way, declare my 2/2 mishra as a blocker an use it's own ability to give it +1/+1 and kill an attacking x/3 creature?
The way I think it works is that the best you can get is a 2/3 mishra (first put damage on stack then use it's ability), but some people say you can indeed deal 3 damage - block, use it's ability and only then put damage on stack.
So, how does it work?

You tap a mana to activate Mishra's Factory and he becomes a 2/2 Assembly Worker.
You declare Mishra's Factory as a blocker.
You put damage on the stack, and tap him to make himself a 3/3 (giving himself +1/+1).
Mishra's Factory is an Assembly Worker when you make him a creature, so he himself can tap to give himself +1/+1.

Actually, you'd want to tap him before putting damage on the stack. That way he'd actually do 3 damage (as opposed to 2 damage). Tapping a creature no longer (for about 9 years now) prevents it from dealing damage in combat.
If you and your opponent both move to damage on the stack, and then you proceed to tap your Mishra's Factory, the 2 damage it's dealing will already be "locked in," and you're simply upping the toughness for combat.

That's the correct interpretation to do three damage with the Factory. Tapping him after putting damage on the stack will keep him alive, but only dealing two points. You'd want to tap it before damage is on the stack to deal three.

Ive been playing forever, but having gotten in and out a few times over the years and I might have missed some rules changes.
Playing against a LandStill deck. he had Humility on the table and 2 Mishras. Unless something has changed to complete screw up the rules I always knew, when a Mishra is turned into a creature, with humility in play, it too becomes a 1/1 like every other creature. At EOT it goes back to being a land.
He swore up and down that it was a 2/2 and that is the very point of the deck.
This was play testing and not anything important, but did I miss something?
