Hey I think that is nifty to have a manadrain for first. However IMO, it might be more interesting to put up dual lands for prizes being as mana drain is banned in 1.5 but obviously a super important card in type 1.

I think that has much more to do with the players who are attending though. The only reason I brought it up was to get useful cards into the hands of legacy players regardless of where they are.

Anyone from North/West of LA heading to this and able to give me a ride?

Shoot me an e-mail at freakish777@gmail.com

@ jazzykat

I don't disagree with you. I just happen to have a high percentage of T1 players who also play Legacy. Beyond that, I will usually buy/trade back the main prize so the players can get value on other cards that just don't make the cut as "prizes". Also, alot depends on what I can pick up for prizes that month. This month I happened to get some drains, hopefully someone decides to sell off a bunch of duals soon:wink:

@ freakish777

I have a group that comes down from SFV for these and the Sat. Night T1's. I'll let them know about you needing a ride and see if I can get someone to email you.

Alright, cool. I'm more likely to be able to get a ride to SFV then all the way down to the OC.

What's the meta down there like? I have a friend going home on that weekend so I may hitch a ride with them if I can wriggle my way out of work.

The Meta's wiiiiiiiide open. i don' think there's a deck that i didn't see get played there.

Hey,

I'll probably be there unless a meteor lands on my house.

I'll probably be there if I can get the eels out of my hovercraft.

4 freaken people showed up.

Ninj4, myself, and two other regulars.

Shame on the rest of you for trying to make a buck at the prerelease. Mana Drain > prerelease drek.
