I assume that the Avatar's ability will be put on the stack - just like Gaea's Blessing's - and then the Solidarity player can further ram the stack up your pooper.

If the opponent is playing solidarity he can just stroke you with the Avatar's ability on stack.

If you're not playing against solidarity then you can be decked if at some point you draw it and don't discard it (for some reason).

Serra Avatar's ability doesn't use the stack, it's a replacement effect.

If we're talking about Solidarity, enough copies of Brain Freeze will ensure that Serra Avatar is the only card left in your deck, and Stroke of Genius can finish the job. Note that Serra Avatar gets shuffled back during the resolution of each Brain Freeze copy, so if you're Brain Freezed for 5 copies, and hit Avatar during the second, the Avatar will be shuffled in to potentially be revealed during the next three copies. It's important to mill your cards three at a time in this case.

I wouldn't recommend this as anti-solidarity tech, as it won't be very effective.

Gaea's Blessing is alot better Anti-Solidairty tech, but even then it can be manuvered around. Besides, Avatar is expensive.
