I don't know if that's quite right... on their website they say it's a play set of duals. Maybe he meant you get to choose your play-set of duals.

Confusion ensues.

I don't see the confusion. Their last event was for 4x Mana Drain and 30 people showed up to play. Even if only 30 show up, at 25$ per entry, that's enough to cover the 40 duals and the foil Delta's.

Looks like I might try to convince the wife to celebrate the New Year in Chicago.

I might head up there for this if I can get some people to crash with.

Shit, I'm not sure if I could pass this up. Haven't played in forever so I'm rusty as hell, but for 40 duals I could risk embarassing myself.

Now to see if I can find a flight for under $200.

I think I'm going to be able to make this one. I hope I can since it's been a long time since you could see the Sun Tower in the Windy City.

This looks like a pretty typical tournament, but I'm kind of glad to see that Goblins wasn't half of the Top8 especially since 2 Threshold decks made Top8. But what happened to the combo? Iggy Pop or Solidarity seem like they might have had a chance but I guess the Threshold decks and perhaps a few Deadguy decks kept them in check. Madness makes another Top8? How did Angel Stompy lose to Goblins?
