Here's the word: The reason this is a Legacy tournament with a Banned card as prize is because they're starting T1 tournaments on Tuesdays, and they're trying to increase the player base, so they're looking at doing some tournaments with staple T1 cards as prizes. Because they already have Legacy tournaments on Saturdays, they're trying to "gauge" what kind of turnout they would get for T1 stuff.
