Jotun grunt

I was on MWS and i was using a Jotun Grunt. It was my second upkeep since i had put him into play meaning it had 2 age counters. I had 2 cards in my graveyard and there were 6 in his. Jotun Grunts cu reads in a single graveyard but since the ability triggers seperately (am i right?) for each age counter, do i get to chose different pairs in each graveyard?

You are correct. You get to choose different yards for each age counter.

You are mostly right. Cumulative upkeep is one triggered ability, not one event for each Age Counter. You may choose two cards from a single graveyard for each Age Counter, but there is no time to respond in between removing the two cards in your own yard and the two cards in the opponent's yard. You have the right idea, but I wanted to clarify, since your post mentions two seperate triggers, which is not the case.
