The 0 cc Pact cycle from FS currently all have the wording:

At the beginning of your next upkeep, pay______. If you don't, you lose the game.

So if an effect, say... Eon Hub caused the players to skip their upkeeps, then the above never triggers? And afterwards, like your next next upkeep, if the Hub is later removed, the above trigger is long gone, so nothing would happen, right?

Thanks for any confirmation and/or clear explination.

The effect sets up a delayed triggered ability that will trigger at the beginning of your next upkeep, which is the beginning of the next upkeep you actually have. If something causes you to skip your upkeep, it never happens for the game, so nothing can trigger, but it also can't be your "next upkeep", because there is no upkeep at all. The delayed triggered ability will wait until there is an upkee to trigger at. If the Pacts said "at the beginning of your next turn's upkeep", then skipping one upkeep would be enough to never let it trigger at all, but that is not how it's worded.
