Ugh. Right during my last final. I know I'd much rather be playing Magic than righting essays.

I'm sorry... It's only going up until 9. I'm sure you'll have all the time in the world after the tournament to do that. Meanwhile, shall we plan for a after tournament meal?

That all depends on how many people show up. Last one I went to was 6 rounds I believe.

Unfortunately, I won't be able to make it to this one. Have fun everyone.

Thank god I'm still in high school.

Guts Lenny.... guts. I'll be there playing either Hanni Fish or Lenny Fish.... if not those decks, I'm probably one of the conformists who decided to play Flash. I have a list (http://mtgthesource.com/forums/showpost.php?p=129710&postcount=753) already.

ugh, how many people are gonna be playing that stupid flash deck... might not even be worth attending just to play against flash over and over and over and over.

I'm moving back home that day, so I'll be busy all day. Sorry A~A. But, I should be able to make it to some of the Shinder's tournaments in Maplewood. Those still exist, right? -_-

eww.... dude... why man?

I go to Maplewood whenever I can. SO Jeremy is unprepared for me, I bash him down with awful decks he's suppose to be good against.

@Mike: You goddamn better come.

Oh wow, I really want to drive up there, anyways I can't drive so I'll see if my mom can give me a ride. My last final is today, and my parents might shop at minneapolis tommorow, so I might see you there.

It's still opened. So far, I heard it's just Downtown St. Paul and a bunch of others. I'm sure Downtown Minneapolis closed down too as well.

So far it's been Edina, St. Paul, Crystal, and one other that I can't think of (I worked at Crystal at the time it was decided to close it). I don't think Maplewood will be closing anytime soon, but really, only the people at the corporate office really know that.

I doubt they'll close Maplewood. Magic is pretty much half of their 2/9 of their entire income. 2/3 of it is from porn, while the 1/9 left is probably magazines and newspapers....

joking, those percentages were random. I do agree, we dont know for sure.

Yep, don't think I'm showing up tomorrow. Doesn't sound like a good idea at the moment. Plus the drive isn't that pleasant. But we'll see what time I wake up tomorrow and what kind of mood I'm in >.>

Maple Grove has Wednesday night tournies as well, same price and starts around 5:45pm. Typically there are around 20-26 people there.

What are the prizes like at Shinders?

zetrix
05-14-2007, 01:21 PM
depending on how many people show they give out store credit to first and second.

You get one booster pack for entering, and then if you go 3-1 you get another booster pack.
