How much is this bad boy going to be selling for at the event center on the 18th and early 19th?

It's selling for $10 now on ebay, and I'm guessing it will be a $20 card at the show.

Discuss.

At the site it probably is a $20 bill.

I wish that I was smart enough to Rich Shay all of them (he has 50 from right when the errata was changed) or Josh Reynolds with Imperial Seals (he had acquired at least 25 before the Portal legalization, nice job!).

On the same note: Is it true David Gearhart stocked up on Resets before going public with Solidarity, or is that a myth? I've heard stories along those lines but weren't sure if they were true.

Rich also bought like 35 Life from the Loams at pre-order prices. Next time we happen upon a broken, broken card, I'll have to hitch my train to his wagon.

Loam is worth like $2; was that really worth it? I might mention the 30+ Grim Tutors I bought at $1-$3 each, but yeah.

Or the 55+ Resets I got for $4 each in credit. This isn't a bragging thread though. Flash will probably vary from $10-20 on Friday night/Saturday morning. After that it will be about $.50 again.

Mine were $1 from Troll and Toad, but I only got like 20 of them.

Everyone from Va bought them first, then he released the deck.

He sold them for like $8 right after Dredgeatog and CAL dominated extended. It was a good investment.

My playset fetched $37 US on Ebay on Saturday.

At the site, however...

If anyone has extra flashes that they want to get rid of, I suggest doing it at the GP since they will probably ban the damn card on June 1st. Knowing Wizards they will probably ban more than 1, I would not be surprised to see both Hulk and Flash banned.

If Wizards doesn't do anything with the banned/restricted list in regards to Hulk Flash, then the deck will be the most degenerate deck maybe in the history of major with Future Sight.

If Wizards doesn't ban Flash, I'll probably lose all my faith in humanity.

Are you allowed to sell your cards at the GP? I didn't think you were allowed to unless you were a dealer. I have about 11 of them that I found for 1.50 that I'm gonna take a trade off or sell if it's possible.

You can sell at the site if you do it discretely. Despite the rules saying that you cannot sell on the floor, it can and will happen. Just do it carefully and not around any judges or staff.

Woah. I just literally ordered mine last weekend via anycraze.com and they had like 40 in stock. I only bought 4 at $.75. Now they have 6 left and are charging $10.

I wish I bought them all!

Will they actually let you sell cards at the GP? I knew most places hated that if it was taking place in a store and they usually are.

Read Tom's post. You will be unceremoniously kicked out if you are caught.

I have 7 Flashes - 3 Asian. They have collected more dust in my Mirage box in my closet for the last 11 years than can be imagined. I'm thinking about cashing them out.

Don't wait any longer, the market is practically flooded right now.

Even though you can't sell them at the GP, it's still OK to trade them for other cards that will actually retain their worth for a while.

Also, what happens off-site (including the attached hotel, where some of us are staying) is beyond their purview. My price on my extra 5 Flash is maleeable but if your offer includes a beer, I can probably be talked down a bit!
