Are legacy tournaments at the Monster Den well attended? Are the prizes subject to attendance? I ask because I live about 4 hours away and could only drive to get there if it was worth it.

Usually 40-50 people show up, and the prizes listed will be the prizes that the T4 get. Southern MN is just lucky to have someone who bothers to have a good sized Legacy tournement once a month, with good prize support.

I'd give up my social life for one day just to play magic... apparently, I spend too much time not going to magic tournaments unless it's a monthly 1.5 tournament.

Dont worry. I played Dryad Gro and lost to Vial Goblins and Counter Slivers. I made so many play mistakes that game against Counter Slivers... I sided Counterbalance out.

ehh... I played Monastery over Swords because it was worthless against Flash, and I figured board dominance ruled all. I cut Monasteries last min because I forgot to bring them with me while I was in the car...

Damn it. Apparently even though I started looking last week, there is no one in 30+ people who has Saturday off. Well, at least I have my deck together for the next one :(.

I think 33 people showed up (not sure, but I played at table 16 first round, and that was the last table so...).

The T8 decks I saw were:

3 ugw thresh
1 43land.dec
1 Aluren
1 Goblins w/ black splash
2 ?


I got kinda fucked out of T8 by Aluren, but oh well...
