If you imprint Ghostfire on a Chrome Mox, will the Chrome Mox produce red or colorless mana? The wording on this interaction is kind of confusing. Thanx ahead of time. Peace.

It wouldn't add mana. Chrome Mox states, " Add one mana of any of the imprinted card's colors to your mana pool." You can's add mana of one of its colours because it doesn't have any.

It would add colourless mana, that is it's colour.

Yea, but the casting cost is red...

Thats irrelavent, the card sais it doesnt have a color. So it doesnt make red on a chrome mox.

So you could legally imprint it but not get any mana, wierd stuff.

Ghostfire isn't red. It's a colorless card and colorless spell in all zones that has a red mana symbol in its casting cost just to mess with you.

This means you can Ghostfire a Silver Knight, you can't get red mana from it off a Chrome Mox, Chill doesn't make it cost more to play, and you can't Blue Elemental Blast it (You can, however, Hydroblast it; the Hydroblast just won't do anything.)
