My little pet theory is that this artwork shows her and WotC is fully ripping off Archer from the Fate franchise, considering Fate Grand Order makes Sony over 2 billion $/year:

You don't think this is Stoneforge Mystic? (Or Stoneforge Lite?)

I am hoping for a Mystic reprinting because I was 1/3 of way through building D&T when SFM was unbanned in Modern. Apparently I was singular in being blissfully unaware an SFM unbanning was just around the corner.

Only one with such power shall exist. She is pure and she is worthy of devotion. She is one that you must dedicate hours of your day invested in the art of acting or writing to please. Blowing down a pipe so you can punch something in the face is so inelegant.

Didgeridon't cost :1:
Card Type Artifact
:3:: return a Minotaur you own to your hand.
Whenever a Minotaur leaves the battlefield put a Hurloon counter on Didgeridon't. When Didgeridon't has 10 or more Hurloon counters, sacrifice it and creature a 20/20 Minotaur Avatar token, then destroy all mazes.

I just heard that MaRo said that Ikoria will let players "play and make monsters" and has the "craziest mechanic" in a while.
People are thinking meld, but I'm reminded that they sold Unstable to the higher-ups by testing stuff, so maybe that host / augment thing will become real.
(Like pacts, carnival extraction, and barren glory before it)

Maybe they'll go all-out and put creature damage on the stack and tapped* defenders won't deal damage, that'd be pretty crazy

Sorry, grandpa, damage on the stack was dumb and we're all better off that it's gone.

Hey, woah now, some of us are still coasting through midlife while we still can.
The stack was the new hotness once, so obviously the best place to apply it was EVERYTHING!

The blink player in me disagrees. Another part wonders what Pauper would look like, horrified.

Sorry, typo, I meant Karnival Excavation.
It turns are Karn-type planeswalkers from the graveyard to hand. It was in Undesirable.

I wouldn't mind a Stoneforge Mystic reprint in Standard. It'd help the price, plus unless they go and print stuff as powerful as the Swords again it should be fine.
The last equipment to see real play in Standard was Runechanter's Pike, and that was all the way back in original Innistrad. You either need crazy powerful equipment (the Swords, Jitte) or Stoneforge Mystic for equipment to see real play in Standard--the mistake was doing them both simultaneously. If they put Stoneforge Mystic back and don't go for Swords-level equipment, not only would it be fine in Standard, it would actually make equipment decent for the first time in something like 8 years.

Embereth Cleaver is in standard so SFM would not be safe for reprint now.
