    Re: [Deck] Reanimator

I remember that many years ago (on the old thread) there was a discussion on the right numbers of each card in order to combo off as fast as possible, and that led to strange results.

    Look at this...

I'm intrigued: can you post your list and explain how you side (what other cards you bring in and what you take out) and what is your strategy when you bring in the Bird?

    Good article, I agree...

    Re: [Deck] Reanimator

The selling feature of Reanimator is its blazing speed: turn 1 or 2 Griselbrand are quite often and some decks cannot do anything about it. Then in G2/3 they bring in hate, but still they have to...

Welcome to the source! I'll be quick

    Against Deathrite Shaman you can:

be faster (lotus petals and gemstone mines help here)
use some show and tell maindeck
    use some kind of removal...

Versus decks with StP inkwell is better than sigarda for the bigger body and islandwalk/trample, which is relevant against miracle (they entreat for two and sigarda is now useless) or decks that can...

I play a main similar to Chris's but my side differs very much, so take my points with a grain of salt.

If you need to blow for 0 ratchet and explosives are equivalent.
For 1 most ad the time it's the same, you have to wait a turn to blow, although if you have 3 lands you can do it immediately.

    Re: [Deck] Reanimator

I second Stryfo's analisys: you'll often find yourself siding out a mix of ponder (if you play them), daze (if you are on the draw), study and reanimate (I almost never side out exhume because if you...

However if they counter EE you still have some action in hand and you could try to go off if you draw another EE or S&T.

Playing bounce to deal with permanent hate means that you can take one shot at reanimating because on their turn they'll replay what you have bounced: if they counter your attemp it's likely that you...
