I sort of agree with you. I've found more than 2 ports really lacking vs most decks matchups. It really hurts when someone is playing multi-color and happen to be mana-hosed in one color.

Agreed. SotPC is significantly stronger against decks like Ichorid, Wasteland heavy, and Threshold.
Hmm, Venser would be interesting in this deck with a blue splash... especially since he's a legend.
Just a FYI. I took the original build (Mono-W) to a local small Legacy tournament (16 people)...
I remember those decks. You had a W/G and a W/U. I really liked the W/U because you had multiple tricks and Cloud of Faeries was in that deck.
Hmm.... I'm really liking this dual color blue...
Gah... gg reading comprehension. Sorry about that. I guess that answers my question. Samurai in SB & Grunt in MD.
The old build, although good, made you rely on topdecking if you encountered some major problem. I really like the inclusion of Blue. The new "Brainstorm" (Ponder) really helps you dig deeper into...
I didn't think about the 2-for-1 Wasteland. That's amazing. Karmic Justice Post-SB is really good I think. We have absolutely no creatures in this deck, so Karmic Justice's "noncreature permanent"...
Hmm... Oblivion Ring is ok. You're right though, Suppression Field is good for anti-Deed.
I'm still thinking Karmic Justice warrants an SB option just because your opponent is going to lose 1...
Would you guys say Pithing Needle is the only thing vs Pernicious Deed? There's still a lot of Rock//Pernicious Deed decks in my Metagame.
My alternative that I'm using instead of Pithing Needle...
Crib Swap is decent, but I don't think Crib Swap is better than Swords to Plowshares. Crib Swap requires 2 additional mana and you're giving your opponent a 1/1 creature to chump block things. ...
Well, there's a small local tournament happening in a week. Everyone knows I play this version of Stax and I guess you can say they are metagaming particularly against me. So yeah, Hurkyll's Recall...
What do you do against MUC who sideboards in Hurkyll's Recall? I ran into that yesterday playtesting my deck. Even if you're on the go and you drop a first turn Trinisphere, it's a ticking...
Nice nice. I didn't even know Carpet of Flowers existed.
Hmm... I'm having a problem against a certain player. I'm running a WGr Enchantress and my opponent is running UB Control. We're about to have a local tournament and he beats me to the punch every...
Wait, how does this work? Guile's ability says "f a spell or ability you control would counter a spell, instead remove that spell from the game and you may play that card without paying its mana...
Shit... That's what worries me. Resolving a Vial means I have to be on the draw with a good hand or I have to somehow bait the MUC player. Resolving a Cataclysm is that much harder. My meta has a...
Several decklists in this thread opted to not use Sacred Ground... even in SB. Particularly the ones with Blue splash don't have them and lonelybaritone's latest list doesn't have it either.
I'm about to play in a small casual tournament with a group of MtG players. Word on the street is that lots of them play MUC or W/B Control.
The latest decklist shows that we took out Chalice for...
Interesting. Thanks for your input as a Stax player. I'm assuming you play Armageddon-Stax right? As much as I would like to play Gaddok Teeg, I'm not sure he's usable in Enchantress. Just...
Kavu-Cure is really a fragile deck. Yes it can be explosive and can have good runs, but it's not consistent. As Tacosnape stated, nobody seriously runs it because of those reasons.
Wow man. Congratulations. That is awesome! I think that DL is the latest, right? Which was your toughest matchup besides that loss to Threshold?
Thanks guys. I'll send an e-mail to the organizer to clarify.
I've always played in Standard Draft tournaments, but I have several Legacy decks that I play for fun online. So I'm not 100% sure on this ruling but... there's someone hosting a local legacy...
Hmm.... I like Hoofprint of the Stag but I don't think it will replace Sacred Mesa. The thing that bothers me about Hoofprint is the fact that you need four counters per 4/4 Elemental. Enchantress...
The reason you only run one Flagstone is because of the Razor Golem. Most of the creatures in Threshold decks can kill yours as long as they have Threshold (unless you have equipment on the table). ...
