  1. Re: [Official] Bitching About Prices and Reprints Thread

Beta duals are out of control at Starcity. They are asking 4k for USea with none in stock , so somebody is paying that price. That's actually considerably more than a Mox Sapphire. The dual land...
  2. Re: [Official] Bitching About Prices and Reprints Thread

You are right. When I posted this they were not listed at $999. Anyway, that is an absurd price.
  3. Re: [Official] Bitching About Prices and Reprints Thread

SCG now has Tabernacles priced the same as their Moxen. And they have sold out at that price. You would think the card was a 4-of in half the format. Who is buying at these prices?
  4. Re: Raise, raise, raise. The price of cardboard

Wow! I think I have about six of those. Why on earth are they fifty dollars of important in EDH?
  5. Re: Raise, raise, raise. The price of cardboard

I don't understand how they can expect anyone to actually pay that price. Could it be an input error?

    I mean, there's hype and there's hype.
  6. Re: Raise, raise, raise. The price of cardboard

If you don't have Cradles, I would buy them now. A card like that will always be good, and only get better as more creatures are printed.
  7. Re: Raise, raise, raise. The price of cardboard

Don't get too excited about Force Field. It really is not all that powerful.
  8. Re: Raise, raise, raise. The price of cardboard

I really like the color red, which is reasonable because it is probably my least favorite color.

In other news, my cards are now officially covered under my home owner's insurance plan.
  9. Re: Raise, raise, raise. The price of cardboard

Folks, I don't know if this topic has been discussed, but I wonder what the market model for these cards really looks like. In other words, bubbles happen when people start talking exactly the way I...
  10. Re: Raise, raise, raise. The price of cardboard

I thought TCG Player was owned by SCG. Are they not the same entity?

And again I say, don't bother with Jace for a couple of years. It will come down.
  11. Re: Raise, raise, raise. The price of cardboard

I know I don't qualify dahcmai, but my wife and I did an inventory of our assets last year and my cards were our number one. I wonder if I can get them insured.
  12. Re: Raise, raise, raise. The price of cardboard

Ppl, you should not give a crap what Jace costs. This is Legacy. Play one of the other 150 reasonably good decks until after Jace cycles out of Standard.
  13. Re: Raise, raise, raise. The price of cardboard

In the Eye of Chaos suffers from the fact that it is blue. Decks with blue probably have lots of it to support FoW. That means more countermagic. That means that the deck's combo matchup is decent...
  14. Re: Raise, raise, raise. The price of cardboard

You can use it as an Entomb for an artifact. Very handy with Goblin Welder. But I am presuming you mean the sacrifice is not a cost bit. That is a nice bonus. Good call!
