    Re: Core Set 2020 Spoilers

Dead give away that I don't follow commander all that much :D Didn't realize they nerfed Oblation a long time ago

Bloodsoaked Altar should work with Basking Rootwalla, correct?...
  2. Re: A Call to Arms: In support of the Legacy Format

When discussing proxies it is important to untangle the individual constructs that are causing legacy decline or stagnation.

    What a funky card

Eternal isolation is an auto include for commander decks for the same reasons as Oblation

this looks insane for commander as it avoids the cost?
  5. Re: Should we embrace the use of MPC proxies in order to prevent legacy’s death?

THat's fine, there's also barely any power to support the format anyway. Besides, I've seen 100+ oldschool events regularly here in Europe. It is bigger than vintage was in the end of it's era.
  6. Re: Should we embrace the use of MPC proxies in order to prevent legacy’s death?

I come from themanadrain. Proxies don't help a format. Vintage was replaced by Old School, a format with ZERO proxies and Legacy. Proxies are counterfeits, period

    Re: Core Set 2020 Spoilers

Lotus Field is legit good. It may come into play tapped, but the lands you sack don't have to be untapped so you don't lose that much mana. Natural Balance? Titania, Protector of Argoth?

    Re: [Primer] Nic Fit

There's plenty of stuff in current standard that is widely played in Legacy, Teferi and Narset being the main ones. Apparently, those cards are outmoded by Nissa. I would say stupidity is ignoring...

I made a case about the new Nissa for NicFit a while ago, and I think the below article warrants a serious second consideration as to whether or not she is viable. According to the following article...

    Re: Core Set 2020 Spoilers

I like the mythic pw, would be interesting to play this in red mud. Too bad it is double red instead of single red, would be nice to go ancient tomb, monolith, mountain, chandra emblem or removal

Agreed. I don't necessarily think Yawgmoth is a good card, but I see the utility. Apparently it played reasonably well. The biggest attraction for me would be Lingering Souls or other token...

I think there's some more to this list than you give it credit for. In particular, Lingering Souls becomes an insane draw engine and sweeper with Yawgmoth.

    Re: Legacy Innovations and Brews

I agree. There was some talk about chalice and wrenn, but it is not the direction i would take it. My plans outside of lands for wrenn involve a multicolor deck or a lumberjack deck.

    4x wasteland
