    Re: BUG Ninja Faeries

Jeff Hoogland did a stream of a similar concept,
Maybe it will give you some insight:

    Re: Core Set 2020 Spoilers

There has to be a use for Vilis, it's absurd. He doesn't have lifelink like Griselbrand but he has an ability that says B, pay 2 life: kill target dork and draw 2 cards. The fact that you draw 8...

    Re: [Deck] Turbo Depths

I think the Mox Diamond lists might want to try this out, but straight Turbo lists with ESG/Petals probably don't want it. Sylvan Scrying and Into the North are both more efficient mana-wise. It's...

    Re: BUG Ninja Faeries

Good call on the Brutality write-up, I forget the gain life aspect often. With Bitterblossom it does seem pretty good. I think Therapist being a 1-drop to get in your t2 Ninja makes it worthwile; the...

    Re: Core Set 2020 Spoilers

I think it's at least a consideration for that deck, for 2 specific reasons:

    1) It's an enchantment, so it feeds Ethereal Armor
    2) It doesn't die to Fatal Push, Lightning Bolt, Path to Exile
    ...

    Re: Core Set 2020 Spoilers

Reprint, but in light of other new cards some of the old leylines might get a little better. It's nice to see a Leyline of the Void reprint, it was much needed.

Modern will be very happy to see...

    Re: BUG Ninja Faeries

Looks like a very fun list, fundamentally powerful. I don't think you'll have any problems with the control or combo decks, but the faster agro decks like Burn and Humans will be challenging....

    Re: [Deck] Turbo Depths

Well, I appreciate all the comments. I will try NotW in the main, Library side, no Bobs. If that doesn't work I'll just go back to Bobs main, Library side, no copies of NotW.

    Re: [Deck] Turbo Depths

I don't have any experience with Not of this World as of yet. I know Confidant is great against Miracles, I'm not sure I would board it in against Lands. I haven't played the matchup enough to know....

    Re: [Deck] Turbo Depths

I would board out NotW when boarding in Bobs, 3-for-3 swap.

    Re: [Deck] Turbo Depths

Thanks for that! I've been playing Dark Confidant/Library in the maindeck lately but with Narset the Libraries have gone to the sideboard. Honestly, Narset might make Library a liability if Miracles...

    Re: Core Set 2020 Spoilers

Ban talk, already? You're in the wrong thread my friend...

I really like Dread Presence, it's definitely got value-based potential in a deck that makes a lot of land drops like Nic Fit. I would...

    Re: Core Set 2020 Spoilers

If ever there was a time to sandbag a Brainstorm, this is it. I don't know if it's worth the risk. You can tutor your card, they get theirs, they Brainstorm in response to your Scour. Or, in corner...

    Re: [Deck] Turbo Depths

I played in a 1K this weekend and I really wanted to squeeze in a Rancor but I ended up trying 3x Force of Vigor in the sideboard so I didn't have room. It would definitely have been relevant as I...

    Re: GB Vengevine

Good advice. Dakmor salvage wouldn't be for dredging, just for enabling land drops even if you 'dredge' it with Stitcher. You only have 16 lands, which is pretty low for bloodghast. Having watched...

    Re: GB Vengevine

I think it's about as streamlined as you can get without splashing red. You're just cutting Looting for Therapies and Neonates for Pimps. I'm going to work towards getting this list together as well....

Chris Kapica made top 8 at a recent event in California with this list:

I think it's cool he had Not of this World in his maindeck, I've been...

    Re: GB Vengevine

Good catch! I think it would be -4 Neonate, +4 Pimp, -4 Carrion Feeder, +4 Cabal Therapy. Gravecrawler gets a little worse without Carrion Feeder, but I don't think it's a deal-breaker. I don't know...

    @Malekith:

This is the version I use at my LGS. I may use it this coming weekend for a 1K, but I might also play Punishing Maverick. If I play it I'll post a list and results if anyone is...

    Re: GB Vengevine

Hogaak has me brewing for this deck again. Without Hogaak there were some very explosive starts, sometimes racing even the combo decks, but with Hogaak I think it might actually be feasible to put...
