Can we afford to Entomb for Crippling Fatigue (or any non-kill card) for that matter? When I once played the deck the way to lose was usually not find Entomb for me.
The version I used to play just packed a Bayou side together with three decays.
Lion's Eye Diamond seems decent suddenly.
Although it makes Emrakul bad.
I played about 30 sideboardless games the other day vs UWr delver, Pun Jund, and ANT, and boy did I get my butt kicked. Delver's wastelands, Stifle and StP hurt bad. Jund's turn one DRS or...
Alright, thanks for the explanation!
I haven't played this deck for a while so I am kind of rusty on the rulings. So I was wondering if we say have Griselbrand in the yard, they have an active Deathrite Shaman and I cast Shallow Grave,...
This, and the discard just gives you more information in general, whether you can actually go off or not. Tin Fins often plays out like Belcher, balls to the wall only we do have slighty more info...
I've won several games playing Reanimate where my opponent grumbles looking at his Spell Snare.
@ Baum:
Thanks for the report. Third game against RUG round 2, I think it's a gamble that this deck doesn't have much ability to play around aka plau safe. Atleast that's how it usually plays out...
It is pretty good when they put chalice on 2. Or when you slowroll into 8 cards in hand end of turn discard Grizza.
I really like LDV. Every time I had it I went off. Slower, but I went off.
Still, I'm actually wondering how Sensei's would work out in our list and will be trying it.
Grats to the11-5 player!
I went a terrible 4-3 drop.
I actually scrubbed out at 2-3 and played 2 more rounds where one guy conceded due to having to leave. I'll try to post what I remember, but I had little to no sleep...
Notice how they can actually just let it keep attacking you aswell. they'll just stay on 1 life
The Split over two turns, is what often makes the difference in my experience. The only times I wish I drew Intuition, is when I'm flooding. Which I guess, at that point we can only hope we get...
Hmm... Boseiju... Why didn't I think of that, that might actually just be a lot better. Ok, still doesn't help that Wasteland is a card, but if they don't have it or waste it on an Underground Sea,...
I went 1-2 in the GPT Strasbourg against a BUG Tempo deck aswell. Game 3, he had a turn 1 Deathrire Shaman, which I Pithing Needle'd. And when I finally got to see his hand(after a mull to 5), it...
Played a game against my own Delverstill deck which I was working on before messing around with Grizza.
My buddy was piloting it, and I gotta say that is almost unbeatable. He didn't even side even...
I must say though that usually LDV is a Vampiric Tutor thats costs 1u more. It has been pretty decent to me.
I'm on 2 LDV aswell and curious how others have been doing with Intuition.
Same reason I have 14 lands and one Bayou side :)
Thanks, was only a small 24 man tourny though so nothing too special. My buddy took it down with Belcher eventually, and I lost in the semi-finals to a Rock deck unfortunately.
Took game 1 easy on...
After going top 4 today at GPT Strasbourg, I think this sideboard you made is actually really accurate, Koby.
The Decay's weren't as good as I wanted, and I pretty much got funked by Leyline of the...
I run 14lands/1cmox/4petals main. 1 bayou main instead of the second cmox. 1 bayou side.
So that part is covered.
Well, having played Massacre for a while and I'm not too happy with it. So I'm not sure what I'd want instead of the 4th Decay since that is basicly its spot.
Adding colors opens options but also...
