He did. You ignored him.
If you keep that up, I'm going to rapport you to the mods.
The same as I would have if I had posted my Deadguy + Goyf deck in the Rock thread. Which was my point all along. I feel that play style is a much more of a determining factor in which thread to...
Wait a minute. I thought talking about adding colors was verbotten?
SoBaM has been very, very good for me. I'm with Tim on almost all of the Sword choices. People seriously underestimate the protections with SoBaM.
It's diluting, not deluding. Sorry, it's been bugging me.
You were playing a 2HG game instead of a real game. You're basing deck decisions on a sample size of 3. Why bother posting and considering results from something that isn't going to happen in a...
Can we all just agree that Grunt is terrible and should never be put in a deck again so we don't have to go through this anymore?
Fetid Heath seems a like a reasonable addition for decks that want to run Hymn, Crusader and/or Obliterator. Not as a replacement for Duals though.
Sounds terrible. There's a reason everyone plays Duals. It's because mana consistency is better than losing some land Wastelands. It also lets you play good spells, like Hymn to Tourach and...
It also cannot be Spell Pierced or Spell Snared. Shriekmaw is pretty good at a lot of things.
Null Rod effectively stops a lot of artifact decks without affecting Revoker/Sculler. It does stop Vial and Equipment though.
If you are thinking about adding colors and good cards to the deck with almost no downside, you should probably check out another thread as that is not tolerated here. I would suggest here.
Shooting down bad ideas with obvious observations is contributing. Fortunately for me, there seem to be a lot of those running around lately.
I bet your opponents appreciate you flipping 6 and 7 drops on Bob for them. I know I would. I'd probably let them keep their Bob if they were flipping things like that. But I'm sure you always...
It's not the B that is the issue, but the X. If I have to spend 5 mana and 2 life to remove 5 counters from a Jace... I'd just rather Vindicate it or attack it. For Vial, paying XB to get it to 0...
Playing bad cards to make ok cards good isn't the right way to go. The mana requirement to activate it makes it pretty bad. On top of it being a somewhat useless ability. Stopping Vial is nice......
Thoughtseize can get Force. Thoughtseize can get Jace. Thoughtseize can get Moat. Thoughtseize can get Tendrils. Thoughtseize can get Ill-Gotten Gains. Thoughtseize can get Time Spiral.
How...
No you didn't. Unless you were cheating and everyone allowed it. There are no Legacy PTQ seasons. Do you mean a Grand Prix Trial?
That wasn't meant for you but for the people claiming I'm playing Rock.
Apparently, because I play green in my tempo deck, I'm playing control.
I think more than color combinations, you should look at the play style of the deck. Are you being aggressive or are you being controlling? If you're aggro most of the time, IMO, you're less Rock...
I still don't see how this is a debate between white and green. Run both. It's really not hard at all. You get the power of Swords and the power of Goyf.
