    Re: SHiV (Shadow-Hollow-Vine)

Couldn't wait so i put together the Grixis list and gave it a go (6games, eldrazi, UR delver,Grixis delver, cloudpost, hogaak, Bant Joreal control )
    It did poorly. :frown:

    Initial testing feels...

I think the list will more or less be the same as what you mentioned but i want to try flamewake pheonix + Insolent Neonate.

    Re: SHiV (Shadow-Hollow-Vine)

I was playing the UB list below the whole day yesterday. I think this has been the smoothest list i played so far, not having to worry much about wastelands and green source. Suprisingly it did...

    Re: SHiV (Shadow-Hollow-Vine)

Tried abit of the standard hogaak list but i find it to not be as explosive compared to SHIV (maybe that's why the comparison with Oops all spells xD). Although overall it grinds really well and...

    Re: SHiV (Shadow-Hollow-Vine)

Hmm what kind of on-board problems did you encounter? If it's blockers/creatures, i like snuff out, it really helps ramp out DS. Otherwise against borrower would do fine as well, but sometimes we go...

    Re: SHiV (Shadow-Hollow-Vine)

Preordain might be better with the deck? I know people are going to flame me with the "brainstorm best legacy card etc..." but with so little fetches and no reliable way to shuffle, preordain or...

    Re: SHiV (Shadow-Hollow-Vine)

Replacing 3xpetals with lands shouldn't affect the deck too much overall, probably giving up the occasional T1 all in for some wasteland resilience. Maybe like :
    +1 verdent catacombs
    +1 island (i...

    Re: SHiV (Shadow-Hollow-Vine)

With the Mandrils/Hogaak/GGT combination, the most important thing is not to get molested in the first 2turns and have 2lands up on T2. Once opponent allow us that, we can go HAM. Being able to have...

    Re: SHiV (Shadow-Hollow-Vine)

Yea, i guess it really depends on your local meta. Veil really strong against these nasty storm comboes, but T1 thoughtseize from other decks is still extremely potent against us.

    Re: SHiV (Shadow-Hollow-Vine)

I think CC can be a really great addition to the deck at the cost of a basic swamp. We hit threshold much faster now with just a single Gtroll, CC can also help play DS little bit earlier. Depending...

    Re: SHiV (Shadow-Hollow-Vine)

Viability wise he did managed to cling a 5-0 league so it must have done pretty well.
