Do you like Cankerbloom better than Outland Liberator?
What are your thoughts on your roll numbers for the attractions deck? I've heard 2 opinions so far: spread them out across all numbers or load them all up on 3, 4, and 6.
Also, I know you're not...
If you're not tutoring for Stingscourger or have another reason to want it for being a creature, it's probably better to just run Dead/Gone.
Hi, I've been playing a mono green stompy list for about a year and a half now and would recommend trying Garruk Wildspeaker. He is very good with the sol lands. One of the best plays the deck has...
Some Redguy Ale anyone? Now featuring Comet!
Creatures:
4 Dark Confidant
4 Stoneforge Mystic
3 Dauthi Voidwalker
1 Tourach, Dread Cantor
1 Opposition Agent
Spells:
It's been a while, but I've been playing this deck for about a year now and have come to a far more solid list than before. I've updated the OP with the current list that I run. I don't know if...
For sure. I have some on order and am planning on going with 2 in the main and 1 in the side.
Crossroads wouldn't play well with Chalice on 1.
Craterhoof was suggested to me before, but...
Current List:
Creatures (19):
4x Elvish Spirit Guide
3x Scurry Oak
3x Ivy Lane Denizen
2x Endurance
2x Undermountain Adventurer
1x Hexdrinker
1x Scavenging Ooze
1x Questing Beast
You also have to think about how good the cards are by themselves. LC is horrible while a second or third SGC is very good.
You forgot Stingscourger. I always run one in the main.
Also, is Chainwhirler worth it? Better than Murderous Redcap?
Well, you wouldn't be running bridges with those dragons. You'd go with a more traditional aggressive style of DS.
I don't think he's very good in DS.
First ability...sucks. Needs a card in hand to pitch.
Second ability...sucks. Needs lots of dragons in the deck.
Ultimate...not gonna happen. Needs tons of...
There are so may graveyard decks that just lose to our lock pieces that I never have been too worried about packing some hate in the SB. If I would though, I think I like Tormod's Crypt the most. ...
The OP in this thread is so out of date. Would be nice if someone could update it.
Why not Thunderbreak? Seems better than Shaman and is cheaper to cast than Stormbreath.
Did a bit of testing with Sin Prodder. Seems pretty good in more aggressive lists.
I actually ran into the mirror on MTGO where I was running the Goblin version vs a newer player running...
Swap Ali for Phyrexian Unlife?
One nice thing about the goblin version is that you don't need to attack to kill your opponent. Because of this, against merfolk we can easily side in Ensnaring Bridge and steal the game if it...
Yep. It's probably worse than RPD.
If we're talking consistency, then running 4 Pia and Kiran is the worst thing I've ever heard.
Also, I remember running FTKs a few years back and they were highly underwhelming. The biggest...
Also with a lot of the more recent lists posted here people are using the extra slots to test out the one-ofs. The lists on the previous page are mostly experimental in that regard.
I'm definitely not worried about discarding a second Reveler, but more worried about not getting enough instants and sorceries in the graveyard to cast him for RR quickly enough. I'm not sure how...
I keep looking at all of these lists and 4 Revelers seems wrong to me. Drawing multiples early is pretty bad in my mind, so maybe going to 3 might give the lists more consistency.
Purphoros is bad. LeoCop pretty much explained why. A Jitte or SoFI would be far more useful.
