It's about the same cost (in life) as drawing an extra card off Sylvan Library. Except without the guarantee of actually getting an extra card. :rolleyes:

I suspect Volley Veteran will be a better card in Goblin Stompy than in Vial Goblins.

It's possible Food Chain may not even be main deck material... I think the ideas are being approached correctly but I see the structure of this conversation going as follows:

The obvious problem I see is that adding 4x CotV, 4x Magus, and 4x Blood Moon essentially makes your Ringleader a 2/2 haste creature that maaaaybe draws you a card...
