Isn't Legacy mainly blue decks...?
How does adding a card that is only good in the mirror make the deck stronger vis a vis the rest of the field...?
People like to draw cards. People like to play control and blue-based midrange. You can put 2 and 2 together.
Vision isn't going to live up to the hype exactly, but it is a good card and it will...
Happy about Eye (not Temple) ban. Slept on Visions and Thopter. Oops. Golem seems a bit harsh right after Chalice but I'm not a Shops player.
Landstill is the Miracles killer. MUD is pretty good too.
Very curious to see how much play Black Vise gets...
I'd like to see the results of a survival deck versus a miracles deck (with sideboard RIP)
I have a feeling survival will get unbanned eventually the same way gush and Gifts did in vintage.
Reanimator is faster and even that is easily hated out these days. Show and Tell is just more...
This is a pretty undeveloped view of the metagame.
FYI:
1. Good Vintage decks do not just play 1 of every restricted card. There is a lot of nuanced decision making that goes into whether...
The thing is, not only is it powerful, but it's also super one-dimensional. Got 2 life and your opponent casts a 1cc spell? Cast MM. Free cards with little to no drawback are just mindnumbingly...
Goblins may have been on the decline, but MM was the nail in the coffin. Banning MM would at least let the deck breathe again.
Maybe I'm speculating with respect to Can Thresh, but it's drop off...
I will be giddy if MM is banned. That card gimped several fun archtypes:
Goblins
Canadian Thresh
High Tide
Painter
Storm
Lands
CounterTop (arguable)
No.
This statement is a complete contradiction. TES and Belcher both frequently win in the attack phase.
Congratulations, you have a basic understanding of the checks and balances of modern...
Wizards has said on multiple occasions that they try to avoid a metagame that is dominated by Combo. In fact it's the one archetype that they still hesitate to officially acknowledge as legitimate. ...
I was talking about Loam decks... ?
Creatures that often beat Goyf (off the top of my head):
Tombstalker
Vampire Nighthawk
Vengevine
Rhox War Monk
Knight of the Reliquary
Countryside...
I think this is changing. Vengevine Survival may be the first but it certainly won't be the last green aggro deck to run without Goyf. I've seen Loam decks cut him as well. Goyf has a lot of...
