Re: [Article] Anusien - Crucible of Worlds

Spell snare is also great for suiblack, survival, chal 1, bw deadguy, and slivers. On the draw counterspell is too slow for these need to counter spells. Plus dazing into spirit guide sucks.

    Re: [Card] Scald

Not saying it sees play that much if ever but MindBend is hilarious against scald. I only mention it cause back in Odyssey era (AKA MBC or Madness only)I beat a random green/white deck that sided in...

pyrokinesis hits just thiers without putting yours at risk. Also necessary against suiblack as was stated.

Re: [Deck] Deadguy Ale (B/w Confidant)

Descendant usually rocks because of hymm keeps him big and they have to dump guys in front of him. The only bad times is when you get sinkhole vindicate wasteland smallpox, because he stays small...

    Re: [DTW] Suicide Black

Any rush deck can use some virtual card advantage plus nukes pro black guys(except MEnforcer). When they wreck your initial wave you make chumpers and shock them every turn thereafter which should...

    Re: [Deck] MeatHooks (CounterSliver)

Believe it or not plated is a very strong card for slivers aloowing them to survive early combat till they go big with reinforcements. Aethervial I like it stays at 2 and adds more tricks. look for...

    Re: [Deck] Angel Stompy

4 mana for a 2 in the butt doesn't sound attractive to me. Double strike on meadowgrain is very sexy.As is doublstrike on nimbus giving him virtually 5 power when blocked. As far as being better...

    Re: [Deck] Faerie Stompy

Very well stated and mulldrifter only loses to counterbalance with FOW on top in which case so would slithmuse cause of tap top draw FOW.

Re: [Deck] Eva Green - B/g suicide

If there is a ton of STP in your meta crusader is wins bar none. But as mentioned shade pumps bad damage way faster and more likely to survive a head on battle if you block goyf while he is sick.

there are more times you will burn more than 2 life on canopies cause you tap out constantly in this deck. (Refering to not wanting to run thoughtsieze because of life.)plus another non black land is...

    Re: [Deck] Red Death

I would say little over half the black creature could be burned down. Shade rarely if you play smart or get lucky with DRits. But TStalker, Ghoul, and Doran all require multi burns. Leaving bob...

    Re: [Deck] Aluren

I think Cloud of Fairies would be more consistant than oracle. Plus asist if you had to go beat down with out Aluren due to flying. Plus he's free after cip.

I don't really care for slithermuse in burn. The matchups that it would matter most thresh sui black and gobs they can run out of a hand just as easily as you so youd draw nothing. Stick to straight...

    Re: [DTW] Belcher

Glad that was sarcastic cause blue with hidden mana is bad news. Plus you can run Wheel of Fate in the deck as is if you just desire some draw.

Not exactly nothing it would generate a WTF look from your opponent. In an extreme case you could use it at 0 to see whats on top of the deck against counterbalace without a top.

I really like epochrocite. I play him T2 but have not yet tried to port him to legacy. Just so you know Stifle on the unsusspend trigger gets him too. BTW nice deck and good luck in the contest.

  22. Re: [CaNG] Garruk Stasis - (UG tradewind control)

Hmmm... Counterspell, Remand, trickbind, boomerang all come to mind. Most benificial to this deck would be trickbind or counterspell.
