Just curious why you're bringing in Misdirection vs Miracles? They don't have many targeted spells other than StP and blasts (post board). I'd think...

I think in the matchup, Stratus Dancer probably comes out? There aren't many relevant targets for it to hit and spending 5 mana to make a 3/2 that all their fliers can trade with seems bad.

Been doing some gold fishing and I was wondering - how does the deck deal with a fast SFM?

Other than FoWing it, it feels like we don't have much in the way of interacting well with a Batterskull...

I've been thinking on this one some more.

A few questions:

1) What are the Misdirections in the sideboard for? Primarily Abrupt Decay decks?

2) Have you considered a white splash for SFM? ...

Also, how has Sea Drake been for you?

When I used to play this deck, I didn't like it because of Delvers + Lightning Bolts all over the place.

Pros: Like any Stompy deck, capable of very explosive and powerful starts. Having a curve that ignores 1 drops allows you to play Chalice of the Void, which really hurts many decks in the format.

Revokers on Top can help as well. Shutting that down really limits their ability to dig for whatever they need as well as keeps them from Miracling on your turn.

The main reason I cut the Sea Drakes is because they're terrible against RUG. Right now, I believe a 4 toughness is vitally important to survive Lightning Bolts and fights with Delver / Mongoose.
