Re: [DTW] Deadguy Ale (B/w Confidant)

I have no idea why you would run Deed.. It kills most of your creatures....kills confi, kills goyf, kills doran, kills lynx unless you regen it...and you dont even have tombstalker,at the least...

Re: [Deck] Deadguy Ale (B/w Confidant)

I wasn't suggesting that we go the aggro route.. I was just suggesting the mana base if we were to up the creature count to 15-16 with serra avenger which requires double white and mom...while still...

Re: [Deck] Deadguy Ale (B/w Confidant)

The deck is starting to have similarities with bunnies...replacing creature kill with discard and Land D. Having almost similar creatures...except the count..

Bunnies did very well against aggro...

Re: [Deck] Deadguy Ale (B/w Confidant)

As for my list I personaly run 21 lands...and if it is proven the The tabernacle helps this decks against really fast aggro, Goblins, RG beats.. Any kind of stompy.. I would run 22 lands look for...

Re: [Deck] Deadguy Ale (B/w Confidant)

I was just wondering, has anyone tried The Tabernacle at Pendrell Vale with this deck? I personaly haven't tried this yet.. although I thought it would be interesting accompanied by all the land...

Re: [DTB] Deadguy Ale (B/w Confidant)

Since people seem to think that the rack does not fit deadguy, has anyone ever tested Nezumi shortfang?

It adds to your threat count, provides instant discard and becomes the rack that beats down...

Re: [DTB] Deadguy Ale (B/w Confidant)

you can also consider bane of the living as it acts as creature control and is a good beater himself...

If the grunt would be considered, I think 2 or 3 would be the right number, but I think 2...

Re: [DTB] Deadguy Ale (B/w Confidant)

It's not really the aggro I'm concerned about, but the clock, I have read quite a few threads boasting that they can beat deadguy ale just because it has a very slow clock. My primary thought for...

Re: [DTB] Deadguy Ale (B/w Confidant)

I know this is a somewhat silly question,

but would the new Jotun grunt from coldsnap be a card to consider... a 4/4 beater for 2 mana (although white) which fits this decks mana curve......
